Help needed please.
Stingray
For some reason my son replaced the left flipper coil with the correct coil from Marco.
AQ-25-500
The flipper starts out strong and quickly fades to next to nothing.
I think the wiring is wrong.
Left lug #1.
Heavy blue with white stripe.
Small orange to Inside switch blade (blade closest to the left side of game).
Center lug #2.
Small orange wire to outside switch blade (closest to the right side of game).
Right lug #3.
Heavy green
Last pic is the right flipper coil which works correctly.
Much much thanks in advance,
jeff

Quoted from Quench:Wiring looks correct to me.
Give the new end of stroke switch a clean with something abrasive (thin flat file or sand paper).
They were clean, the switches are new.
So are all of the boards. ?
Thanks folks,
EOS contacts are clean and tight.
Coil has stopped working.
I have ordered the correct coil.
Upon closer examination the wrong coil is installed.
The original coil is a Stern "J" 25-500/34-5050.
NOT what is in it, which is a Marco "AQ" 25-500/34-5050.
Reading up on coil prefix's maybe the coil lugs are different?
I will swap the coil tonight and see what happens.
Much much thanks everyone.
Switch screws are not touching the coil (just looks like in the pic, keen eye).
EOS switch opens nice and wide with plenty of gap.
The game has all new Altek boards in it.
I am lucky enough to live near the company and will stop by tomorrow (by appt.) and Dave has offered to test the boards for me.
I want to make sure the boards are not damaged.
thanks
Quoted from chuckwurt:Unrelated, but I think you may have Bally flippers in your game too.
Left coil is a green wrapped Marco replacement labeled as mentioned.
Right coil is original Stern in yellow wrapper.

It was the solenoid driver board.
Quoted from cottonm4:A dumb question I suppose, but what led you to figure out it was the SDB?
Thanks
Desperation, I swapped it and all was well.
Thanks everyone who chimed in.
My Stingray is working perfectly and is for sale.
Quoted from HoakyPoaky:I always use warm whites in yellow inserts.
per vid's write up!
