Quoted from Mitch:Dont see these come up too often. What's the going price for these titles.
Quicksilver, stargazer, seawitch
interested also.
I have watched Stargazer but not the others. Saw a very nice example sell for $4500 about 1 year ago.

Quoted from Mitch:I wouldn't mind a stars or meteor either but I know what those are worth.
I got to be honest. I think Star Gazer is the only one worth picking up. Great to play and art work is great!
I think 9-ball is the best player of the bunch. I would probably take meteor over QS and seawitch; would def take Stars over all of them.
Quoted from DaveH:The problem is, not enough people would. After the first 10 copies sold like hotcakes, there would be a huge group looking at it and saying "What, for that?". Most people just wouldn't appreciate it. So just because I want a Stargazer, doesn't mean there is enough demand to remake it.
Fortunately a couple of my friends own it, so I get to play it from time to time. Not the same as having it in my house, but at least I get to visit them.
how many games does Stern realistically need to sell in order for it to be worth it?
Looking back at recent past titles I estimate that if they can sell 500 in total then the game average, 1000 in total and it is above average, 2000 and it is great!
If Stern made a modern Stargazer PRO model for 5300 they could sell 500 of them. Make a LE (updated art) to go along with it and I bet you sell another 500
Quoted from TheLaw:That's a tuffy right there
yeah, but I bet there would be a whole segment of the typical LE buyers that would buy it just because it is LE and has new art...
I wonder if Gerry Simkus (original artist is still around and wants to make some new/updated art)? could be cool
Quoted from rollitover:...for an exact replica?
Or would you expect an updated,
new and improved version?
Sorry OP for the brief diversion.
I would happily pay 5300 for an exact replica.
I would pay premium prices for an updated version with equally good art, new LCD display and graphics, etc... I would of course want to be able to run "classic" mode on that updated version.
Quoted from dothedoo:I've heard Viper is the same.....beautiful game,
Viper is a blast! Great art and super fun.
Most have not had the opportunity to play a working example. Great art and challenging.
It will never be an A for game play, but a solid B+ for the era.
Quoted from TheLaw:Must admit I've never played a Magic or Trident as far as I know.
Magic is a gem.
Trident is a turd, dont waste your time.
Quoted from kidchrisso:That's like asking if a blonde or a brunette is better in bed...let's just say those two are bolted to the floor, Seabitch is for sale and Meteor is newer to the collection. I need more time on it.
Stilltryin for 4800 on that seawitch, lol.
Quoted from Methos:Those two are pretty comparable, Fathom has a more traditional layout while SG is pretty unique.
QS beats both of them.
your QS is the only one I have played (at least for one that actually plays well). I have always been curious, are the flippers intended to have as much travel as they do? They go further than any other game (even the always trap GTB premiers).
Quoted from Mitch:Got a seawitch being shipped to me. Has repo backglass and plastics. Rough playfeild.
Ill take the next SeaSlut that comes along I guess...
