Quoted from HHaase:

Just picked up some yellow and green material for the 3D printed stuff I'm doing. The green was requested to match the Quicksilver playfield, and looks really good (Pantone 341C is the exact color). Here's a few start buttons heading out the door on Monday most likely. I should have grabbed some red while I was at it, would look great in the coin entries on my Lectronamo while I still have it.
The more 3D stuff I do, the more I think I want to greatly expand this part of the business. Just started taking courses in 3D modelling to improve my abilities so I can start doing more complex designs.

Fantastic news that you are making a lot of these unobtainable parts , I will be definitely ordering some of these
I know this is not the right section but the start buttons for some of the system 11 games you just can’t get ,green for Taxi ,Yellow for Dinner ,I’m sure there’s others
I’ve also being trying to find the Williams Indy Jones Rotor Cup plastic for the Idol Lock they are either broken & beyond repair

Also I Have found in some instances that the EOS has a light coating of sealer on them when replaced, just give them a slight sand to eliminate anything being on them

Also I think the EOS is opening to early just looking at your pictures

Check that the flippers have float , up down through the nylon bushes

Quoted from play_pinball:

Looks like the English manual posted is missing a ton of info for Iron Maiden but the German manual on IPDB states all 4 flippers are J-25-475/34-4500

I didn’t think to check there

Thank you

#5189 2 years ago

That Iron Maiden playfield is pretty cool looking. I've never seen that one before.

Yes the artwork really cool

I am still looking for Apron Cards if someone can help me out

Also just Replaced the Flipper Assemblies back to Original , so much better now to play

Cheers

And it doesn’t pay to assume that one classic stern wide body Playfield Glass is the same as another stern wide body , I just learned that Cheetah & Big Game are the same but
Iron Maiden is different

#5261 2 years ago
Quoted from cottonm4:

Is IM a double back glass? What is different?

Yes IM has a double backglass

Playfield glass is wider on IM than what’s in Big Game & Cheetah

Wow that Viper is very nice, never seen one ,that backglass is amazing nice score

Now its all restored Looks Stunning with a Special Pooled Mirco Playfield , plays great just don't look at my Pools

#6908 1 year ago
Quoted from Joydivision:

Only 2 off my number! My game was ex Melbourne too.
Mine has the writing on the lockdown bar visible as well. Looks like 38/72 but may be 38/22? I can't tell.
I have read the total number indicated on a lockdown bar is not actually the quantity of that actual title allocated for that country, can't remember what it was a measure of.
I have seen lockdown bars with USA that have all different numbers for the total that are seen on the the same title's lockdown bar.
So close together off production & having the same Cheetah & Stargazer harness tags confirms what Vec-tor suggested, that whatever was available was used to keep the line running.
[quoted image]

I have a Stargazer that was Australian Delivered going by picture of the lockdown bar 10/10

Cabinet Stamping was a bit strange look at the Head box

Quoted from Joydivision:

10 really does seem like a probable number for allocation to Australia. I only know of 2 others here in oz, one guy in WA & one collector here in Adelaide who found his game about 15-20 years ago, probably locally - that was first time I had seen a Stargazer.

I found out a little history on mine
It was operated in the early days , then was purchased for home use ,which was there only machine ,it had minimal plays at home ,then wasn’t played and put into storage for about 7 years
I then had donated the machine to Pinaball Masters here in Brisbane & had a guy come up to me said he was the Tech operator on this actual machine all them years ago & told me he had the original Manual for it , it has now been reunited with the machine

The Playfield also has the Hairy Knee version

Quoted from Flynnyfalcon:

Picked up my 3rd Classic Stern today, a Flight 2000. I wasn't looking for a pin as I seriously have zero space, but how do you knock back a well priced Classic Stern which comes up for sale not far from home. Needs a chunk of work, but it's all in tact and playable.
[quoted image]

Nice score there Chris ,I didn’t see it come up you must have been quick
Wouldn’t mind getting one of these one day to add to the old stern line up

Ali vs Big Game…
Who wins?

Both , they are Classic Sterns

Okay so I’m a little confused about the credit button Sticker

Where they all Foil type from the factory when new , or was there two types from factory

#8436 1 year ago
Quoted from dothedoo:

I've only seen the foil type. All my games have had foil or no sticker.

Thanks for clearing that up , now to find out what classic Sterns has them fitted & which games did not

#8437 1 year ago
Quoted from play_pinball:

I have never had a classic stern that still had (at least remnants of) the original credit button sticker that wasn’t foil. Very often they’re worn off from people touching them thousands of times though.
There are 2 different logo decals for the center, however.

Excellent thank you for information , think I have some foil type in my stash

As for the centre logo stickers ,have to work out which ones go on what era of games

Cheers

Thanks

#8888 10 months ago
