Stern, 2012Just finished installing Hemi's Total Rock Concert mod (pretty awesome, btw...), and now my cannon doesn't wait for me to hit the fire button - just fires it when it gets to about the TNT targets. The eject coil seems to fire weaker as well.
What would cause the cannon to fire on its own?
Mine did this when the opto that identifies it's position wasn't working. It's under the cannon looking at that gear part that rotates as the cannon moves. Mine ended up having to be replaced. You can start with a switch test to see.
Mine came with the opto not working under the canon wheni first set it up that made it fire without touching anything. after talking with stern they sent out a spacer that fixed the problem and has been working perfect for the past two years. One of my favorite games ever. This is the premium version. I would call stern tomorrow and they can relieve the frustration I'm sure you are having like I did.
