To convince me, when they asked for their deposit, I expected to see something of their production facility, staff and space, etc.
That never happened. Sadly, of course, that means I'm out. Too much risk.
At this point it's a gambling proposition. I can't gamble 5k, but good luck to those who can. If you do, you deserve every penny of the profit.

I find it inappropriate (for anyone that claims to be a pinhead) to be rooting against a very valid start up company and frankly it makes it obvious that you are ignorant also.
The investment aspect is a safeguard, but I'll grant I was a bit heavy-handed in my response with the video.
