Any info or pics? Serial number recorded? Hopefully it doesn’t get trashed.
It was quite a drive, but I decided to leave it where it was. I could live with the fact that is had an old mouse nest and a wasp nest in it. But the fact that at some point somebody butchered the machine into a childrens toy (100s of marbles were inside it) and felt like he had to remove all the wiring and under playfield kicker assemblies for that (and with that, essentially removing the essence of the machine) was too much for me. This machine was unsalvageable.
It looked to be sold a few days later, hopefully to a better home than I could give it.

Can you add, "IT"? I don't know when it was made. Made by H.B. Jackson Manufacturing Co. in Seattle WA. I can't find any info online however mine is numbered 757 or so if I remember correctly. The game is packed away right now but when I add pictures, no cats, I promise!
The legs are incorrect, per the guy I bought "IT" from. I have the proper shooter rod.

I was told by the previous owner that the original legs had big ball type legs. He told me he didn't have the original legs and subbed in the current legs from a dining room table. They look identical to the legs on a few of the Duncan Fife tables we own.
Fortunately no modifications were made to the machine to mount them. I'll be on the hunt but I can live with the table legs if this is the only example around. I don't think it has enough value to make sure the legs are correct.

How about the 1938 Bally Reserve? I've asked in a couple different places and haven't had any luck so far. I've got pics that aren't from IPDB, too!

Ok, I've added a bunch of pics of the different Reserve games I've found over the last year or so(my playfield is done, but my cabinet is still bare wood). I even uploaded an image of the reproduced artwork for the backglass that I made for it. Is there any way to get that image used for the game's official backglass image on its page? Thanks!

I'm a graphic designer by trade. I took mine and scanned it, front and back(for the masking), reproduced all the shapes and lines and the entire artwork. Then, after consulting on TONS of pictures across the internet and a couple people who have nice originals who sent me pictures, I decided on what colors should be used and am hoping that they're close enough. I've got Pantone color books to help approximate them and match them up fairly well according to what I saw.
Send me a picture of what you've got and I can see how much of a challenge it might be.

Exposition has a cool hidden mech! There is a single slow motor that toggles whether something is worth 200 or 1000, and when the 1000 is scored it fires a ball up this track in the backbox to trigger 5 switches in succession, something score motors would eventually handle.
It is so cool seeing how the tech we might take for granted first evolved, and what problems they were solving!

While 60s and 70s, I love how it takes you through the development of the tech for each manufacturer, so you can understand WHY those features are there, and what problems they're solving.
Working backwards through pinball history feels anachronistic, but starting with PM pins and moving forward with each new development makes each development feel new and exciting.

Such a cool concept. Groetchen really was a cutting edge company in the 30's. I'm currently restoring a Groetchen Mercury De Luxe trade stimulator and a few months ago restored a Groetchen Tavern. Thats a really great example of that title too. Nice job.

Absolutely, their (his?) engineering was exceptional. This game is primarily mechanical with precision machined stainless steel parts. Built like tank. I haven't encountered too many other Groetchens games other than this simple Skill Jump, but a video of their Columbia pseudo slot machine looks amazing.
