It looks like the Appendix has not ruptured yet, so they have him on antibiotics .
He's on blood thinners, so they want to let the thinners get out of his blood, and then operate in a few days.

They could not wait for the blood thinners to work themselves out of Mike's body, so they operated on Mike.
He's still unconscious, but the docs said it was a success.

Great news, thanks for keeping everyone informed Vid.
No scars for me that I can find from my appendectomy and you don't want to see my belly. Trust me
Take it steady Mike and let your body heal.
My brother just had an appendectomy after the doctors could not figure out what was wrong with him for THIRTY DAYS. He was in the hospital in agony the entire time. Mike, I hope you have a significantly better experience. Your people seem to know what they are doing
Quoted from janus:My now 11 year old, he was 30 days old at the time of the surgery

That scar is a monster! I had my Appendix out about 10 years ago and it was key hole surgery so the scars were tiny and have almost completely gone.
Quoted from Azmodeus:That is where I need the help. One of my books is a non fiction story about me. What happened to me. It is 450 pages.
The second book is a horror short story collection. They are separate so I can compete in both markets.
Anyways I really need help getting a good agent. If you can help me please send me a message. The books are very good it's like someone else wrote them.
I am researching getting an agent, but several people who I thought could help me, cannot in truth. I'm on my own. I did copyright both books.
It's hard to read through this thread. You guys saved my life here.
Hang in there Mike and good luck finding a publisher. I would suggest that you find a local writers group and see if anyone is interested in proof reading your books and get some feedback. Like spfxted suggested, Amazon has some good services to self publish.
You don’t need to print your book these days. Amazon Kindle ebooks are huge business now. Have a Look into Amazon Self Publishing:
I am an avid reader of Ryk Brown and his Frontiers Saga series of books. Check out his website here. They are ebook self published. He is an example of how digital self publishing can be very successful:
Good luck!
I think this must be you and Veronica in photo #2 of post # 70.
Great seeing you at this event. Be well.
