Anyone have any old broken boards laying around that they could part with or know where I could get some? I need to practice my soldering skills. I have some experience but never on boards. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a local Surplus Electronic store near you? There, you might find old through Hole PC computer PCBs that are usually as-is cheap for $2 to $5. There are usually enough ICs and Headers on there to challenge your unsolder and then re-solder skills.

There might be one not too far from me. I've never been, but I may have to give that a shot. Thanks for the idea!!

Go on your local CL and look for Free radios, stereos, computers, anything electronic. Then tear it apart and start on a PCB.

Just take the power boards out of all the dead printers you are saving that the ink has dried up.

Or the VCR that is flashing 12:00 for the last 10 years.
