No joke. Their are at least 4 games I would want too.

I wonder how much to rent a truck from there back to Austin? I could ride my bike out there, put games & bike in the truck and drive back.

    #7 11 months ago

$500 for a Stars? I'm in!! Anybody going from AZ?

    #8 11 months ago

I'd really like the Seawitch and Centigrade 37 if anyone is able to assist with shipping?

    #9 11 months ago

I'm in for the High Speed and Grand Prix...

Or I would be if I were closer...

I’m guessing that these two will be the first ones out of the building.

"Game list and prices are subject to change up to one week prior to public sale" Seems like They will see how much interest they have,
    then jack the prices up.

If you decide to do this let me know. I'm interested in a couple of pins and would throw some cash in for gas/time.

Long way to ride your bike with all the crazies on the roads these days so just be careful!

Several on that list I would love to have. Wish I was closer.

LOL. True. No flippers in So Cal, ya dolt! Likely the worst dealers and flippers in the country down there.

Funny but true. Not that dealers and flippers are bad people. They have certantantly made getting machines more competitive the past 4-5 years. My favorite is the facebook page set up by a local dealer, all sales he gets first notice of.

Looks like quite a few machines have disappeared before the public sale. I guess there were private sales for a lot of the good stuff.

Members had first crack on June 2nd

Darn- At least 4 I was interested are gone now. I'm out.
I'll be volunteering tech day at Banning museum instead.

Kind of a bummer that they didn't ever mention the member pre-sale to non-members. I'm sure there's folks (myself included), that would have pulled the trigger on membership to have that early chance. And the website mentions no pre-sales...but I guess we just need to kick ourselves for not pulling that trigger sooner...

I’m told only a handful of games were sold at the presale. Possibly under 10. Other stuff was moved, slots, pachinkos, etc. there are still close to 130 games for sale tomorrow. I’d say it’s still worth a look.

    #22 11 months ago

I’ll head over there to help in the morning. No idea what I’m getting into yet.

Say hi to the big guy with the hat, it might be me.

They are all EMs, jfesler. Isn't that verboten to you?

    #24 11 months ago

there are some solid states too but not sure what might be left - I went to the preview and Stars hadn't sold yet since it was a project pin and many of us are just players and don't work on games but just play them

    How did it go Today?

Any pics, numbers, or new additions for someone?

Yes, would be great to hear how this turned out

    #27 11 months ago

From what I understand it was a success. PPM was able to re-home 10's of $1,000's worth of working, semi-working and project machines. All the dmd & early solid state stuff was sold.

They ended the sale with a few EM projects remaining, so those will be part of the next event in October.

A few people lined up before 8 am when the doors opened and the first two folks through the door when straight after the Time Machine. Unfortunately they had only one.

Pics, check. Numbers... six, two halves, and then some thousands. New additions, check.

There are approx. 150+ games for sale for the upcoming Public Sale this Saturday, 10/27, from 9AM to 3PM.
The majority of the games available are EMs from the 1960's to late 1970's, and are all either duplicate or triplicate titles from the PPM's collection.

Games are in one of the following 4 conditions:

    Working
    Working Project
    Project
    Parts

As with the previous public sale, there are still lots of good titles this time around, and some very reasonable prices.

The complete list of games and condition/prices, location of the PPM Annex Warehouse, can be found here:

    Good luck!
