I'm hoping someone here might be able to help with the electronics of a mod. I have 2.4v, 20mA, 3mm LEDs that I'd like to power from the lamp matrix. My understanding is that this voltage should be ~18v turning on/off quickly to produce ~6v. Is it possible to control this bulb on the lamp matrix? Sorry, I'm not very proficient.

    My thinking:
    6.4v power ----- diode> ------ (+) LED (-) ------- ~200ohm resistor ------ ground
