I had the same issue when I used a JBL sub. I ended up having to splice a RCA cable to make it work. The shielded wire inside the RCA cable is the positive and the free strand is the negative. In my case I had already ran wires to the sub so I cut off a single RCA cable end and spliced it on to my wires and plugged it in the Sub in.
Sorry not sure if you could run two. If you are experiencing vastly different volumes between the RCA input and reciever input; I wouldn't suggest it. I had to have mine cranked up completely before I spliced on the that plug. I suggest picking up the PINSMX if you want to run up to four games on a sub. I have one at home and it allows me to independently adjust the volume for each game.
