Quoted from mark532011:

Current USA wire colors for power is "black=power", "White=common or return" and "green=ground"
In looking at the diagram for my Argosy, they ran yellow to the fuse and black to the transformer. The power wire should be the one going directly to the fuse but it seems weird to wire up the black wire on the power cord to the yellow wire in the cabinet and the white wire on the power cord to the black wire in the cabinet.
Am I thinking of this wrong?

I have a 3 Jokers, made eight years earlier by Williams. It is wired the same: hot runs yellow to the fuse, red to the power switch, then purple to the transformer. Neutral runs on black, right to the transformer.
