Quoted from rdonahue87:Bought a Simpsons Data East pinball machine a while back. Essentially worked fine. Someone hit an electrical pole with their car over the weekend and I lost power for a few hours. Once the power was restored I noticed my machine wouldn't turn on. Opened it up and checked fuse box and saw fuse was blown. I bought replacements 8A slow blow but as soon as I plug in the machine, the breaker trips and the fuse blows.
Any thoughts? For whatever it's worth, my machine was plugged in but turned off when this all happened.
I had something like that happen but with equipment at work .After tgat must Inout power strips on all the machines and even shut breaker off if a storm is coming .OCD is real my friend .As long as that’s the correct fuse maybe look what that fuse is linked with and go from there .
