There is currently no good match for gold with a powdercoat. I had all my pieces "brassed" and they look awesome. My only issue is with the fingerprints and the polishing that is required with brass. If you plan on keeping the machine spend the money to do it right (brass or chrome). Don't bother with paint or powdercoat (gold) as you will just be replacing it later.
