    Quoted from Robertstone0407:

I have a decent hobby powdercoat gun for anyone looking to get into the hobby for sale. It's the east wood dual voltage gun. I'm using a pro gun these days

Are you using a gravity feed or hopper on your new setup?

    #60 6 years ago

Yeah I have a fluidized hopper too pair with a gema easytronic. I only ask because I see you in and out of colors frequently. I avoid color changes as much as possible because I can't stand cleaning out the hopper, blowing out the membrane and line every time I change a color. 20 minutes of cleaning for 1 minute of coating.

I didn't mean to side track your thread. Your powder looks great. I was just curious if you had a quick way you were swapping. I agree on the moisture. I learned the hard way. I have 3 filters too. Thanks for the info.

    Quoted from Rdoyle1978:

Don't you need an oven to bake it on at the end? What do you do for that skins?

I didn't mean to derail the ops thread. I bought a 6'x3'x3' commercial powder oven to do my personal stuff for my restorations.

Back to the op. His work looks great and his prices are fantastic. Great turn around time as well.

    Quoted from Robertstone0407:

I need a jig. Least favorite part of every job. Bolts

I found the way you pictured to be the quickest way honestly. I do use silicone caps. That speeds things up.

    Quoted from WeirPinball:

Yes - I had to break out the files and sandpaper - took quite a bit of work. Note: I haven't done business with the OP, so this is not a bash on his work....

Weird. I've never had a fitment issue (::knocks on wood: and I powder nearly every metal part in a game for the last 5 games. I do plug screw holes though.
