Have you done any powder coating for Wizard of Oz, Emerald Green? I know some owners on here have been looking for a match...

I just wanted to give a thanks to Robert for the great work he did on powder coating my replacement WOZ Emerald Green side rails as mine were chipped. These came out far better than I imagined and arrived flawless. I have been meaning to take a pick of them when I am home and will do so when I have time.

But for any curiosity sake, dealing with Robert was excellent! He is responsive to messages, timely and makes a fantastic product. Also to mention, his pricing is very fair. I always get a little uneasy dealing with private sellers or makers of products and he has relieved me of that for the future. I will certainly be using him for more projects going forward.

So guys with WOZ Emerald Green machines, since JJP isnt selling replacement parts anymore, this is where you want to go for replacements!

Thanks again Robert! Keep up the great work!!

    Quoted from Robertstone0407:

    A really neat finish I can’t quite capture on camera. It’s going out for a Star Trek next gen. Galaxy Fire finish[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

    Thats an interseting color.

Are you able to do, or is it even possible to do, a paint job with those colors that change depending on where you are standing? Like some cars will get them where they look yellow at one angle, then green at another.. Not sure what its called.

    Quoted from Enchantress:

Spoke with Robert today, like everyone else haven’t seen nor heard from him in awhile. He is doing OK, just taking some quality family time away from PS. Will hopefully be back in a few months.

Thanks for this. Reached out to him to do a small job and havent heard back...

Good to know all is ok.

    Quoted from Ceemunkey:

I can't really find a definitive answer to this - but one of my OCD pet hates is having a tonne of micro scratches on a powdercoated lock down bar. See this pic of my Ghostbusters as a rather awful example. Is there a recommended way to buff these micro scratches out (eg maybe Novus 2)?
Also I know that over time they will obviously come back its part of wear and tear, but is there anything that can be put on the powdercoat to make it a bit more resilient to this kind of thing (like a spraymax 4k top coat or something else that is really hard wearing)?
    [quoted image]

You should be able to polish them out with a car polish. I did something similar to my lockdown bar and that did the trick. Does take a bit of work to do.

If the scratches are so deep that you can get a fingernail in it, then you wont be able to fix it.
