Recently found this thread and after wasting an entire day at work reading through it from page 1 to page 29, I now have my order in with Robert for my SS and JD. This kick-started my long procrastinated intention to start the restoration on JD. Now it is in the garage and the disassembly has begun so I can get the parts off to Robert. No turning back now!

I spoke to Robert and with his input, we came up with colors for both JD and SS. Cant wait!! Once I get the parts back, I will post pics of the machines wearing the new bling. SS will be the first to get decked out as I think JD will be in pieces for a while... lol. Especially since I will be sanding, filling, and putting new decals on the cabinet and head. Haven't done it before and hope I don't screw it up, but figured I would give it a shot!

That black/gold flake is awesome looking on that TOTAN!! Gives me more hope for the color combo we decided on JD.

I finally got Robert's work on my Scared Stiff and will say that his work is top notch. This has nothing to do with Robert, but I do regret changing my mind on my color choice from my original intention of a "slime green". I should have gone with a bright green and had some silver metal flake in it as originally intended.

I changed my mind after seeing different sample photos that Robert sent. What I didnt take into account was that the pictures were all taken outside in daylight which makes the powder coating look completely different than what it looks like in a darkened game room. On site in my game room due to less light, the rails pretty much look black. I turned on all the lights and actually opened shutters that are normally closed to take these pictures.

I wouldnt care as much but my Judge Dredd will sit right next to it (torn down at the moment) and I did black with gold metal flake for it. So both games will look black when done.

Oh well, still 100 times better than it was before, but consider your color choices in a darker setting. All bitching about my own mistakes aside, Robert's work is awesome!!

I'm about to send my JD off to Chris for the HEP treatment so the game will be gone for about a year, but have to put it back together to ship it off to him. Finally put the habitrails back in and think they blue with gold flake looks awesome! It will look even better once it is a HEP version, but wanted to show you the ball rails before I send it off.

Your new phone takes WAY better pictures. The PC looks way better in these new pics. It really picks up the flakes better than your old phone did!

Awesome! Looks like it arrived from Suzohapp without issue. Can't wait to get it back and installed!!

    Thanks again as always, Robert!

Got my ACNC door installed along with the Pinnovators headphone and volume kit that they mounted onto the bill validator panel after Robert finished powdercoating everything. Perfect match to the original Spooky blue that ACNC came with!

    Thanks again Robert!

    Quoted from SGSA:

I'm quite excited to see how mine comes out . I'm sure my stuff isn't on deck yet but it's probably in the near future. This is my first time customizing a machine like this so be sure to post some pics!

You wont be disappointed. His work is great and makes a huge visual (and feel) difference!

Makes me glad that I was able to get you guys together and everyone is happy! Robert did my ACNC coin door (after 2 previous games) and then I sent the bill cover off to Pinnovators to have the kit installed. You guys inquire about the powdercoating and I link you to this thread. Now here we are with your Tron stuff in the thread!!

Im sure once you get it back and installed, you will do more games... lol.

Just happy to see 2 of the pinball businesses I love doing business with, working together! Next thing you know, Robert will be supplying them powdercoated bill covers for their Pinnovator kits directly!! This would actually be very possible with factory colors like R&M where the PC coin door is a factory option.

That chrome look is such a badass color!! I wish you had a blue version of that color when we did my JD rails... lol. Amazing work!

    Quoted from Robertstone0407:

Well it’s available it’s just really expensive to do honestly. I really only recommend it if your wanting to like keep the game on a high collection level. Value isn’t quite there.

Well, since my JD is in the HEP queue, I would guess that qualifies... Lol. But my rails are done so the blue with gold will have to do.

That color looks awesome! I am not a fan of the look of the ST pin, but that color will look awesome on it as well as on a few other pins I can think of.

I am REALLY hoping the owner of this WH2O comes back here and posts pictures of this installed. This is probably my favorite looking color you have done here in this thread. I don't have a machine that this would work on, but if I did, this would be a must have. It just looks killer. I could see this on a Star Wars pin of some sort too with the blue and white.

My favorite color you do... Saw it on Whitewater. Hoping that the GOT owner will post some after pics.

Hey Robert, start perfecting this color and you will probably get a lot of Halloween business. If you can do this color, I will probably replace my factory Spooky CE Halloween powdercoat with this once it arrives.

Roostking found this and posted it in another thread. Would love to see some samples of your final version!!
