I was stupidly adjusting my newly installed pop bumper switch on my DE Star Wars pinball machine and I noticed that after that every time I triggered the switch in diagnostics it triggered a number of other switches. I also now have a couple of switches that are showing as on. I may have shorted the switch matrix as there is a chance I hit the coil lead with my adjusting tool (looking back am kicking myself as should have turned it off).
I have not encountered this before and I am not sure where I need to start looking. Should I be looking for a potential short or have I potentially fried some components on the CPU and if so what is the best way to identify what needs replacing. Any assistance on where to start would be appreciated.
