Seems like Stern and JJP both have QC issues.
However, seems like Stern are better for stepping up and sorting things out.
If the issue is a day 1 manufacturing fault, Stern help out.
Seems like this is a day 1 manufacturing fault but the cost is too high for replacements etc.
