That helps them use up the bad play fields from the bad batch. Do people actually believe they are throwing the bad ones away or redoing them? There will be no insurance claims.

I was looking forward to buying a WW and a used PoTC someday. Now I have to wait and hope JJP fixes the issue with the WW. And I have to be ultra picky about any used PoTC.
JJP needs to fix WW and not let it turn into another PoTC.
My money is staying in my wallet until they decide to stop screwing over their customers.
Actions speak louder than words. And I see no action at this point on either the PoTC or WW play field issues.

Good on Jack and JJP for calling and offering this solution. It's not going to make everyone happy, but it is much better than nothing. Once I get enough money and Wonka owners are reporting no further issues, I'd love to own a Wonka.

Today I got a call from Jack, hes refunding me for the playfield cost. So my replacement playfield is free. Completely unsolicited call, just called me out of the blue.
Was nice for him to call, and I feel made whole. sure I'll have to do a playfield swap at some point. But this feels right.

I would not want to do a swap until I am retired and have lots of time on my hands. I know I will need it.
