Just got a potc in, and today noticed a little quirk, wondering if im missing something.
The right lane for broadside, the switch works, adds points, triggers in test... but when the ball rolls there it does not trigger broadside at the ship.
Is there a rule or something i dont know? It was working yesterday, and everything appears to be working... am i missing something?
What game code are you running? I'm about to update mine from 5 to 6, but I'm pretty sure it works properly. I'll chime back in in a couple days when I confirm this.
Going from memory broadside doesn't do anything until you have the sails down on the ship. I don't recall getting it ready until after the first ship was sunk, but I do remember seeing a setting for it.

The sails have to be down for the broadside shot to be active, it is not dependant on what ship you are on, only that the sails are down. A strange rule quirk, but that's how it is written in the manual as well.
