I've having a small problem with the lid from the dead man's chest on POTC.

The lid sometimes doesn't close (about 2 out of 5 times). I don't think the problem is related to the coil, as I've already tested that in the test menu. The coil always fires and the lid always opens, but sometimes it doesn't fall back to close the chest (although you can hear the coil retract).

Personally I think this might be some kind of a "lubrication" problem where the hinges or so need a little "lubrication"?

I just don't know what substance I have to use and what parts to "lubricate" to make everything smooth again.

I guess this is a known issue, as I've come across a few YouTube videos of other POTC's that also have this problem of the lid not closing properly. I'll try to clean it first, and if that doesn't help, replace the bracket.
