For those willing to spend the money, which of the two CE models between POTC and DI CE would you prefer? Both are fun to play just curious which you think will hold up over time as it would stay in the collection for a long time. Is one machine likely to have less issues than the other?

I am a big fan of JJP pins and I’m looking forward to the next releases including WOZ YBR. Hope the 5th is Wonka!

DI was my first love, and has been totally kicked to the curb by potc. It's that good..

Totally agree. If I was going to buy any new game in the near future, it would be a potc.

Different beasts.

DICE
- Narrow Body
- Original Theme
- A somewhat standard rule set, leading to repeatable scoring / improvement strategies
- Meaningful code updates released
- CE items included non game items (Comic, Jacket, Dinner), cabinet trim is nice, but not super noticeable, topper for CE is okay, not a wow
- Standard out of box issues experienced. No crazy issues.

POTC-CE
- Wide Body
- Movie Theme (that has been done before)
- Rule set has lot more variability per game (sold as a feature, but not all will like)
- Initial code update released
- CE items include Cabinet Trim (Neat), Star Field (w/LE too) and topper (which is a wow for me)
- Standard out of box issues experienced. No crazy issues.

If I had to choose, it would be a toss up, but after initial impressions I am partial to POTC.

I’d pass on the CE and get the LE of either and be half way to getting the other LE.

First you need to remove the CE from this discussion as the differences are only cosmetic, unless that's what you are asking about.
I have a DILE and WOZ RR and a friend has POTCLE.
Secondly I think I like POTC enough to buy but is it just the novelty of it being new, I don't know. But I'm not ready to get rid of my DI. So much left to play on it. POTC has some great shots and different layout from DI so it would be a great addition as opposed to a replacement for me.
