yeah I don't like cramming figures in my pins either. But things that light up and are interactive I like.
That warm light is great for her. If her light can be triggered to go on only when the ramp is up, that will be a great LE feature.

I have not noticed a change in mine.
I did remove the spotlight from the post in front of my BG. It gets hit constantly from the ball (the post) and the LED kept getting rocked from its socket. If that connection is not made, the entire mod doesn't light.
So at the moment the spotlight is hanging out of sight in the cabinet, and she is lit from under and back.
Your spotlight may have a loose connection affecting the mod. I'm not sure what the solution is, other than putting the spotlight somewhere else where it won't get hit.
