Quoted from Mike_M:The Cactus Canyon box looks like it was in a truck that got in an accident.
Looks like Black Panther attacked it
Yeah… I should have not clicked on this forum. It pains me to see these photos and appreciate my luck.
Jesus, these boxes are F’d up.
Holy shit!
I have a hard time believing they're stacking these, but could the drivers slamming on the brakes in traffic and tipping them over, and then maybe they slide and squish the topside?
I recently started working in a shipping department, I always thought freight got strapped to the walls of a trailer, but don't think ever seen it done. Maybe once.
And yeah you see a box like that you don't even think about signing for it. Luckily your distro will have no other choice but to have your back on this type of stuff. Shit does happen.
I had some of a Spirit that got busted up in shipping but all those pictures got wiped out of my computer a while back.

All trailer loads are supposed to be secured...large ticket for "unsecured cargo"

I doubt they're stacking games on top of games but something was definitely on top of it.
Been in logistics forever - ones like this are from having the cargo lifted too high on the forklift and slamming into the top of the trailer when they load it.

Ouch, that hurt looking at those pictures, sorry to hear that happened. Were you able to refuse shipment and send those two games back?
On a side note does anyone have the link to the thread, or pictures, of that Lord of the Rings which exploded all over the road when someone attempted to move it with the legs on in a truck bed?
