Great score (IMO)! Found a Pearl Suspended Concert Bass Drum Stand. It originally has two arch pieces that go in the ends to suspend a 36" bass drum with bungees. Made the play field frame out of aluminum bar and some angled slotted metal. I made no permanent alterations to the stand so it can still be used as a bass drum stand. The stand itself breaks down small enough to store in a corner or under a pin, flat. Super sturdy, and rolls on lockable 3' casters. The stand retails for $650, so (duh) I wouldn't recommend buying one new (I did not get it for $650, but rather much MUCH less). I got this from a friend with a backline company who was clearing out some old stuff. Mostly stoked because I know when I'm done with it if I don't want to keep it, I'm pretty sure I can find another pinhead who'll want it; and if not, I can definitely sell the stand as a bass drum stand still and more than make my money back.
