No idea where Stern got these. Someone suggested they bought a bunch of unopened packs and used them for the aprons. Anyone know more about these?

I like that yours has one of the game villains on it. Especially since he's it looks like you've jailed him like you do in the game. Nice signature too.

The cards originally were produced and sold in 1966. In 1989 the Topps trading card company re-issued the cards. Each of the cards used in the new Batman machines are from those 1989 reissues, but are vintage themselves at 30 years in age. Got a massive sealed lot in an online auction.
In the packs there are some cards that don’t feature any of the characters whatsoever and those were discarded and not used in any of the games aprons.
I was there personally the day that we began opening up the packs and sorting them into different stacks and piles as the legendary Adam West alive and well signed them personally at a table inside of Stern Pinball headquarters. A moment I’ll never forget.

This is a really neat and fun feature of the game that I hadn't noticed. I've played Batman 66 a bit on location but didn't spend any time looking at the apron I guess. Well done Stern.

That's awesome! It must have been one of those days where you said to yourself - "I get paid to do this?"
I ended up buying 2 unopened sets of the 89’ reprints. eBay... bidding on 2 sets and won them both... silly yes, but can keep one original and swap cards as I please. None signed though.

Any interest in selling any cards to those who want a different one?

Always open to it for sure.
For the signed Adam West ones. Did they do a signature series similar to the Catwoman promotion they ran? Curious if the signed Bm66 are any different than non signed ones.

From what I understand, there are 100 randomly signed cards on regular premium editions.
Quoted from PinsOnly:I have this one on my Premium.[quoted image]
Sweet! Batman riding a shark!
Quoted from Rolls-Royce:Besides the one in my Pinball, I bought 9 more and just put them below the Stern’s
I have the same card on mine, it's just not signed like the one you have.
You know you can buy signed ones on eBay i see them for sale all the time. Adam West made a living doing autograph shows. A great investment for your Batman 66 machines.
Quoted from LouMatt:I have the same card on mine, it's just not signed like the one you have.
Finally a Trading Card twin huh! Regards LouMatt
Cool. Did you get the complete set off of Ebay? I am thinking of doing likewise. Bet you paid more than the $19.95 listed on box.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:I really wanted one with Cat Woman on it like it shows on the Stern Catwoman flyer. But it appears as though that was creative marketing since I haven’t seen anyone get a signed Catwoman card yet.

That’s a very nice card the one that you got Spyder
Quoted from jetspeedb:Heres mine. Pretty cool.[quoted image]
That's about as perfect as it gets for a catwoman edition machine.
