Decided to start a thread where people can post pictures of the strangest painted or modified cabinets they have bought or seen in a ad.

Figure I'd start it off with pics of a williams apollo I got today. Cab and head is wrapped in some puffy brown vinyl. Looks like a very well done and Profesional job back in its day

I won't remove it but I don't think I will be keeping the game either needs a ton of work and I don't want to do it.

    #7 2 years ago

That diamond leather is too sweet man, I wouldn't remove it you need to find the matching bar lol!

    #8 2 years ago

It's a shame the rest of the game is so rough, cut wires, paint planking on playfeild as was stored in a garage, etc

    #9 2 years ago

    That needs to be restored!

    #10 2 years ago

Found this off the net and it's doubly bad, cause it looks like a cab taking a dump and its a vpin...sorry vega pin lol

Any others out there? Love seeing stuff like this. I've seen the cool custom IJ cab and a few custom painted em's just can't find the threads for them right now.

It is going to hard to surpass the diamond vinyl padding. This Topic has reached its apex.

I've commented on this photo before. Why would wheels be attached to something, that are mounted in such a way as the wheels will not turn. Oh, and that fringe on the top is great too.

How about new cabinets that don't fit anything?

Here it is in the garage. Finally got it out of the truck. The projects are starting to pile up though

Here are a few from an eBay sale a few years back. The guy had installed his BSD into a coffin. Pretty elaborate mod. No foolin.'

Maybe it's perfect underneath, and a previous owner wrapped it in money he wanted to hide, then covered it with the leather.

A long drive and $150 and you can find out and take a Apollo home as a souvenir.

    #24 2 years ago

Did that Apollo come out of he playboy mansion.
For that price I'd restore it and keep it. Just for conversations. And I'd get a leisure suit to wear while playing.

This is on CL right now...
