Quoted from Friengineer:Did anyone end of grabbing this?
Curious too ... Sent them a text that Saturday morning, but never heard back. (wasn't too disappointed... haven't finished the last two machines I grabbed)
Quoted from kermit24:A dead is what you or I would pay? Been to a few and all the reports I have read from others indicate that the estate sale people overprice them by looking at eBay asking prices and such.
As Mathazar stated... most estate agents will accept offers.
Couple years ago, high-end Northern Chicago suburb million dollar house... had a Nip-It and Time Warp tagged at $1200 each.
I was an early Saturday arrival (no pre-phone/emails allowed) and told the state agent they were high. Gave them my top bid of $400 each, phone number and left.
Got a call Sunday afternoon that I could come get for my bid.
(both machines worked... NipIt in pretty good shape)
So deals are still out there for estate sales. Just gotta work them.
I've gotten several machines from estate sales in the Milwaukee/Chicago area. Almost all were well under normal Pinside prices (for that year).
I've found estate sales way more likely to grab a machine, then the few auctions I've attended. (those tend to be stupid money plus fees, etc) And there's none of that "buy-back" BS at an estate sale.

They want $4200 firm. Said if didn't sell, sons would keep.
I'm fairly certain this machine is huo. It's pretty mint.
Everything is there, including all paper, coinbox inserts, etc. Even the furniture glides on the back were original with most of the yellow paint not scuffed off.
Serial number 1505 I think?
Segments out on credit display, but no burns on display. Bg looked excellent (didn't remove, but saw no scratches or peeling from front).
Playfield very good, little cupping.
Quoted from Colsond3:Even if HUO, at that price looks like the sons are the happy new owners of a Star Trek pin.
Yeah, they wouldn't even accept my $1200 bid.
Quoted from nascarrey:This estate sale popped up today. Lucky Seven for sale

Thanks for the lead.
Backglass is in very good shape, and playfield is pretty good too.
Boards look ok.
Adding to the collection.
Quoted from nascarrey:They never responded when I asked her how much...thought about a road trip (my uncle owns a house on the chain in Antioch) but daughters schedule had me running all day... Glad you were able to scoop it up! It looked clean!
My 2nd estate sale pin referral in the last month (still banging my head on my desk about that Hulk!).
Anyone here get that Stern Dracula that was for sale in Darien? I bid $400~ you bid $450, its all good, but wanted to let you know that ive got a spare back glass for that machine for sale if youre interested!
Sent you a PM... thanks again.

Home safe & sound...
SW:Ep1 is a re-import with signs of bottom water damage. Seems to play fine & bright, focused screen. (Lightsaber dead maybe?) Rest of cabinet in good shape.
Roller Coaster is most probably HUO. It's in great shape.
Both machines in need of complete shop cleaning & re-rubber.

Daditude, I'm just curious... what FB groups are you getting these from? Because I can never open your links. It must be a closed group or something.
Quoted from Daditude:That one is estate sales.net
Im not sure why it doesn't open up for you. I always doublecheck them.
You can go to the web page and type it in on their search bar
LOL... I quoted the wrong one. Yeah, Those link ok, just most of the FB ones you do, don't like my account. No big deal.
