Quoted from Pecos:

Manufacturer: Williams
Game/Type: Black Knight / SS 4 Player
Month/Year: November 1980
Production: 13,075
Cost: $700
Location: New Haven, CT
Link/Contact: " target="_blank">newhaven.craigslist.org link
Condition: OP: "...plays well, has playfield and backglass wear..."

Anyone think that's worth the $700 and a 4 hr round trip?

#1328 3 years ago
Quoted from Pecos:

Welcome ryandimx! Only you can be the judge of that. Black Knight is not on your wishlist? I would seriously consider it if I hadn't already found my Black Knight. They are hard to find in working condition under $800.

Thanks. I've been lurking here for a bit. Bk is not a must have for me. It's more of a if I find a great deal then it's one I want. Definitely on the fence because of distance. If it was only an hour I probably would have gotten it already. More nostalgia than a favorite.

Quoted from songofsixpence:

I know I'm coming in a bit late here... but yes, I would be tempted. A few months ago I made a 3.5 hour drive to pay $900 for a similar condition BK. Mine might have a bit nicer playfield, but my backglass is pretty awful.
Not saying to do it... just that I would!

I sent an email to them this morning asking for pictures of the other games. I'd have to grab them all to make it worth it

Manufacturer: Data East
Game/Type: Laser War / SS 4 Player
Month/Year: May 1987
Production: 2,569
Cost: $650
Location: Boston, MA
Link/Contact: " target="_blank">boston.craigslist.org link
Condition: OP: "Complete running project in decent shape. Needs come TLC to be perfect, or play it as is."

13 hour round trip and 2.5 tanks of gas....I'm really considering it

Edit - game is already gone

Picked up a Doodle Bug and Target Alpha in an all or none deal today. Not into EM games.
Doodle Bug works but I did not go through it, I was told Target Alpha doesn't. See pictures for playfield wear. Target Alpha playfield glass broke before I picked up today. Both sets of legs are pretty oxidized.
They are still in my truck and I'd rather not take them in the house and down to the basement. $400 for both as they sit if you can pick them up by Tuesday.

Quoted from Zarklin:

Looks like a couple nice projects there. Since I don't see snow on the ground I'm sure you're not close to here. I think spring is a myth this year! Got 2 inches last night....

We're getting hit with it right now. I'm outside Philadelphia. I'm pretty sure it was 70 degrees at one point this week.

Quoted from bluespin:

In another forum several people have said that if you drop a pin at any Fastenal location, Fastenal will deliver to any other us Fastenal location for $250

Yes. They also said you have to pay like $20 for a skid if you don't bring one. I didn't pay anything for it. Never heard back from the buyer so I assume it made it okay.

The title of the craigslist posting says $550, but the description says $5500. Choose wisely....
