Manufacturer: Williams
Game/Type: Black Knight / SS
Year: November 1980
Production: 13,075
Cost: $1,500
Location: Lincoln, NE
Link/Contact: lincoln.craigslist.org link
OP: I bought this as a project earlier in the year and spent quite a bit of time cleaning, repairing, and getting it up and running. Comes with an extra playfield. If you need more details or photos, please let me know.
Me: Playfield looks really nice, but the real bonus is that it comes with extra populated playfields that look nice also. Prior to the CPR announcement last week scalpers were trying to sell repro Black Knight playfields for $1500.

This one is on Pinside.

Production: 14,000
Cost: ????
Location: Springfield, MO
Link/Contact: springfieldil.craigslist.org link
DATES: SAT 08/11 - SUN 08/12

This one has sold (even though the dates are this weekend). $400 for Gorgar. OP stated that an arcade guy looked at it, bought it and said it would need a lot of work.

#9893 5 years ago

Manufacturer: D. Gottlieb & Co.
Game/Type: Solar City / EM 2 Players
Year: February 1977
Cost: $800
Location: Polk City, IA
Link/Contact: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/1977-gottlieb-solar-city-pinball-machine or desmoines.craigslist.org link

OP: Absolutely beautiful Solar City pinball machine. It flows silky smooth as the playfield has been clear coated with automotive clear coat using a gravity flow air gun. As a result, the playfield has a tough finish and the graphics are in amazing condition. The back glass is brand new and flawless. The cabinet is in very good shape -- the paint only has minor marks here and there. New rubbers and waxed well. Schematics and manual are included.

Everything works as it should except it currently starts every game in 2 player. We could have adjusted this, but we always play multiplayer so we never felt the need to address it. We will not be entertaining unreasonable offers as we really enjoy this game and are tempted to keep in our collection. We are only selling to save some space. Asking $800 cash.

Me: Looks like there are a few Midwesterners with this on the wish-list. Paging @BEATNIK-FILMSTAR, @DECIMAL, @MATADORMAN, @EVILSQUATCH, @N0POT, and @POKERJAKE.

It's the program. If set to recommended, everything shows up but sorting through it is a pain. If I switch to newest, every listing disappears. I have to use the Find function of my browser and type in "Minutes" or "Hours" to find the latest listings. First world problems for sure.

Ha just beat me newovad I was just going to share this.

I noticed Facebook has changed search parameters (at least on Desktop). I can now put a 500 mile radius on my search. It's going to make searching easier but probably make me feel like I'm missing out on more good deals.

I should bump this comment and let it be known that 500 miles range came in useful. I’ve now completed my furthest ever pinball buy. 7.5 hours in the car to pick it up. I’m finishing the journey home tomorrow after stopping to hang with relatives a few hours down the road.

I would guess he turned it into a coffee table a long time ago. Before it was worth anything. It was just an old pinball machine with a missing back box.

It wasn't. He still had the backglass and the displays. He turned it into some wall art. He threw out all the boards and said the transformer was toast.

I could use the cabinet but it sounds like it is modded.

It is. He cut off the back (and the rails) and evened up the top.

Maybe you get lucky and the transformer is still sitting inside.

Nope. See above.

Quoted from play_pinball:

Already resigned to making the harness, so that would only be a very welcome bonus if it was still there.

It's not. The coils are all missing as well. But it has some pretty Christmas lights.

Quoted from tomdrum:

A couple projects posted this morning on Mr Pinball:
Boomerang, 1974 Bally: 250
This is a project Boomerang game. The negative is the backglass is missing. The playfield and cabinet are in pretty good shape. I have several sets of legs that you can choose from if you would like a set for the game. Text, call, or email if you have any questions or would like photos.

Fast Draw, 1975 Gottlieb: 500
This is a Fast Draw project game that has been sitting in storage for a few years. Comes complete, but needs to be restored back in working order. I have sets of legs you can choose from if you would like/need a set. Text, call, or email if you have questions or would like pictures.

Those are both here in the Marketplace. Fast Draw is showing as Pending on Facebook from the same seller.

Anyone closer, feel free to buy mine instead. Of course, the Pinball Enthusiasts on Facebook said it’s only worth a grand, tops.

I'd be shocked if this is still available.

He had at least 5 people interested when he went dark on my messages.

Quoted from HHaase:

Saw this one. Geographically it's not overly far from me, a long day with maybe an overnight, but not THAT bad.
I've driven further for less.
Financially though it is too far. but there's only a couple titles in there I'd be interested in either way. And probably the same ones that everybody else would be shooting for anyway. That and I know I don't have room for it all..... and that's only factoring in the Hercules.

It’s only across town for me and I had the same thoughts. That and I don’t have 11k lying around in cash these days.

Does the project have a price? I’m not afraid to make connectors. I’ve done it twice now. Swords and Addams.

You guys really want us to buy that Casanova. Not sure I agree with the seller in this market.

A good shop job, and triple your investment, or play it and enjoy it.

Quoted from cottonm4:

Damnit to hell, Bluespin. Here you come with another new pinball group that has its doors closed to non-members. I wish Facebook would at least let everyone have a fucking peek and just not let a passerby speak. You know, "you are not a member so you can only look". Other website allow this. Why can't Zitberg's website do so, also?

Probably why it's best to share the info like ManbearpigOG did. You can see the posters name and search it on FB and get to his ad in the marketplace and other public groups.

Quoted from pevo:

Damn!... where the hell are all these Pinbots?? ...i can tell you where they ain't....anywhere in Texas

There's an inactive member real close to your location that hasn't been on the site since 2015. Maybe he still has that Pinbot and wants to sell it to you at 2015 prices.
