Quoted from ForceFlow:

Probably a scam.
I think I recognize those photos from another ad.
There's been a scammer posting free pins in various cities lately using stolen photos. Then he respons saying he missed your message before he moved to utah, but he can ship the pin back if you pay for shipping it.

I agree its a scam. I recognize the pictures too. He had these same pictures posted on Craigslist in Southern Oregon. Told me he was just moving to Florida, but unfortunately had to move it with him already, but wanted it to go to a happy family and would work with the shipping company to get it to me. No thanks...scammer!

Quoted from Crispin:

I'll take those donuts Hans. It was 350 until someone stepped on my deal. I was 1st to respond 5 mins after he posted and my 1st question was why so cheap? He explained the mpu had acid damage and no longer boots up. I told him he undervalued his pin and I would bring some more $ with me. He told me no that he had his fun with it and the wife asked him to clean out the whole garage so he just wanted to get rid of it. I told him I'd bring more cash with me and scheduled to meet him at 6 when he got off work. 15 mins later he called back and told me a collector named Joe in Commack told him he would be a fool to sell it for that price after he was told the game is sold. He than told him I can be there in 3 minutes with 1400. The seller told me he just didn't feel comfortable with him yet was now intrigued at how adamant he was about the price so he now wanted 1500. Thanks Joe

I just don't understand this. Just because you're not caller "1" why ruin it for the lucky guy that is. We all watch different outlets hopping for a good deal, sometimes a great one and when it comes its awkward when you arrive to pickup the machine and some other pinball collector has spewed his opinion on the seller. If I am not the first caller I just give the seller my name and number and ask if the buyer does not show to give me a call. Call it a day and maybe I'll be lucky on the next one!

Quoted from cottonm4:

Looks to me you did not read what Chrispin wrote. He was the 1st caller. And made a deal for more money that the seller was asking. The seller said SOLD. And then the seller turned it into an auction. The seller did not give Chrispin the chance to even match the $1400.00. Do I hear $1500.00? I got 15, now 16, now 16, and 17, now 17, and now 18. ....

No, I read it. What I don't like is that Joe "the collector" in Commack spewed his "opinion" to the seller which in turn made the seller increase his price and started an auction sale. All I am saying if you're not caller "1" just give your information to the seller and ask if the buyer doesn't show then give me a chance to buy. Just don't voice your opinion on price, condition and retail value on a working machine in question. Give the guy that was lucky to be caller "1" to get a good/great deal and call it a day as maybe you will be caller "1" on the next one!

My previous home the game room and work area for my machine's was in the basement as well. I also had a buddy that helped me move the pins in and out, but in the long run we got tired of moving the 350lb machines, also are age lol. So I did research and bought an electric stair climber. The brand name I liked is an Escalera. They are expensive if bought new, but found a used one on Craigslist for $500.00. Costed me $80.00 to ship it, but was a back saver and has more than paid for itself. Might be an option for you if you continue to buy and sell machines as you will get tired of moving machines out of the basement.

Just saw this on Facebook. Would be a bit of a project, but is priced right.

Well someone in Tacoma Wa got a deal of the year the other day. Sorry I can’t post a link to the Craigslist ad as it has been deleted already, but can let you know what it was.
A past renter left a G&R Data East pinball machine when they left and the home owner wanted nothing to do with it and posted it for “FREE”, yes you heard me right “FREE” just come and pick it up.
I am sure this went right away as I saw the ad about an hour after it was posted. Hopefully the new owner will post some pictures of his new acquisition.

Looks like it’s something that would go great with CFTBL.

Williams IJ listed in Great Falls, Montana. $7500. It appears that it’s been listed for a while, but thought I’d post this if somebody would find this interesting as it appears to be a good price for it. Not sure if it’s a scam, so be careful.
