Why is everything cheap on one coast line or the other? Meanwhile I’m stuck Texas where half a broken pinball machine is still sky high?

Nice! I keep seeing $50-$300 projects all over Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland etc and Southern California. Hell I even see free on occasion, yet here in Texas especially Dallas, they rarely come up and are $650+ if they work easily $1k. Texas is big y’all so sometimes a trip to new york may be a faster trip then across Texas! Ok exaggerating a bit! Also seems all the cool dudes with the parts stashes are also in those same states. just whining don't mind me. Carry on!
Quoted from zacaj:Why are there so many good cheap projects for sale in Texas, while up here on the east coast supply is drying up?
I've seen more games in TX in the past month or two I'd buy than I have here

Me too! Just way too far away!
Quoted from mrm_4:Good god I’d love to restore this thing!!!!
Quoted from Daditude:You will never believe this...the deal fell through with the other guy and I got it!! Yay!!
It’s a great game, I got mine a year ago, love it!
Watch out for this asshat. At first he was real slow with responses. We finally agree to the sale, I made a plan with him to get it 2 days later. He said he needed reconfirmation on Fridayi was going to still come. So I co firmed, told him when I left, no response, I am about 1.5 hrs in to this 5 hr commute and suddenly he writes back saying he has received new offers for more and he has heard pinball machines are very valuable asking me if I can go up on our agreed upon price.
Dishonest, flaky, disrespectful and just a shitty person.
Yes Facebook marketplace
Quoted from sparky672:Can't tell... Facebook Marketplace?
I offered a deposit he didn’t want to do that.
Quoted from sparky672:Very true. When dealing with normal & honest people, sending an immediate deposit might help; which would be considered a binding contract.
Whenever I sell on FB Marketplace, 90% of the inquiries are total flakes and no-shows. Sometimes I get lucky and someone will send a deposit so I will hold for them.
I always offer as well, I did the same. Told him when re confirmed daily, offered a deposit, sent him a maps picture showing my route but in the end it’s unscrupulous person.
Quoted from Randy_G:That's one thing I offer right away.
A small deposit(100>less to hold) for 24 hours for me to start a trip if it's somewhat far away(500+mi)
The great thing is that I've never been stiffed and the seller has never said yes to a deposit offered by me.
Perhaps I have been lucky.
I try to communicate everything to seller( vehicle rental, proof of monies, ETA, ect...)with pictures.[quoted image]
“Flipper Butoons” for Arkansas this is probably spelled correctly though!

Not a project per se. However, a good amount of united parts are available in Dallas for just $100. Be a service to offer to united project owners. Be fairly easy to recover $100 selling the various parts.
