Worse than Big Ben?
nicovolta ?

Tough question, both are snoozers IMO; I played El Toro at a traveling carnival tent the year it came out... after a while, even for a young kid, the only redeeming quality was working to get the ball back up the left entry gate to complete the letter sequence... bottom of the PF offered nothing to shoot for really... at least Big Ben has a few targets and logical things to target on the lower PF, and hey, a kick-out hole. I always thought Big Ben was made to get rid of parts left over from earlier games, since the lack of features and downright boring play rivaled most of Chi Coin offerings at the time.

I do have a sweet spot for Big Ben though... bought my dad a super sweet example that we set up in his ‘FloridaRoom’ addition to his country home in SW Virginia in the early 90s... despite only being played a handful of times a year, it only needed servicing twice, both times to change out bands, clean the PF’ and once to reglue an insert... no mechanical issues whatsoever!

I passed only because I live 100 miles away and my project pile is at a peak; parts alone deem it worth while.

My wife’s parents lived on that same street in the 80s, and my wife was born and raised in Pleasanton... small world for sure... that pin will go for cheap.... I like the coke machine more than the pin.

Quoted from dc2010:

Lol, I called them, lights are on, but nobody home and they want 500, told the guy he was asking to much for a non working em, he seems sure it'll sell first day...

Hey DC2010; yeah 500:way too much for that pin... I’d be shocked if it went for anything over a few hundred, especially in that area of TX.

I hate to see 3 inch flips on a 2 inch game... easily changed out... backglasses have some fade issues.
