I already own a Sky Kings, but good first game for someone or easy flip.

I phone bid on the Vector today. Someone local was bidding against me and I stopped at $500 since I couldn't see it fully in person. Playfield had some wear from the pics I recieved and it wouldn't boot (no surprise there).

If another Pinsider got it, let us know.

I had the exact opposite a few years ago. A guy had a Bally Fireball EM. Wanted way too much for a non-working machine with some missing parts. I waited 30 days and messaged back. He said come get it for $500. 'I'm sick of looking at it.' Win some, loose some.

I guarentee that machine is in worse shape than the few lousy pics show. And that price is way high.

My gripe is...like many other for sale ads on various sites...not enough photos and real descriptions. I get it, the owner might not know the lingo, but photos are the truth. Not enough photos and it is better to be honest and list what's wrong (again maybe perfect in this case). Seeing the wear around the flippers leads me to believe the rest is rough and therefore priced high.

Lol, the fuses are probably still in their holders...you just can't see them over all the rust that has developed. Simple fix!

I messaged him. My nephew is 7 and loves pinball and is very good at the simpler EMs. Ironically, he lives in the same town as the seller. I'm about half hour away.

Go see it in person. I bet the cabinet is full of mice nests and wires that have been eaten. Cloth on the wiring is probably gone. I also bet the playfield under the nest is trashed.

I get annoyed with the various groups as well. Pinball and my other hobbies have too many groups in FB. I just gave up.

That is tempting. The game looks like it needs some serious love. The displays are physically damaged and the flipper buttons are suspicious. I'm sure the board has acid damage. Playfield looks decent.

I played a Sorcerer at a pinball arcade a few months ago and really enjoyed it. Would like to find one eventually.
