Quoted from Pecos:

Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Joker Poker / SS System 1, 4 Player
Month/Year: August 1978
Production: 9,280
Cost: $900 "feel free to make me an offer"
Location: Alpharetta (Atlanta), GA
Contact/Link: atlanta.craigslist.org link
Condition: "...I'm listing it as a project and as-is mostly because I know it needs a new power board. Check the pictures of the current board, as the connector needs to be rewired. The playfield is in VERY nice shape with almost no wear. The drop targets are all intact, but many of the plastics are broken. The backglass has some flaking (see pics of rear of glass). The cabinet is average, but in nice shape. Comes with original legs. "

Machine is still for sale. Prefer not to deal with shipping on this one.

Yes, it is a Minstrel Man but I have seen pics of the playfield and it is warped beyond belief.

I have a lead on a warehouse in Pierson, FL. The owner just passed away, but had a huge warehouse of pinball/arcade stuff. Everything was pre 1985. There were around 10 pins, nothing worth more than $100 probably due to being parted/termites (I took the only games worth anything). There were around 12 jukeboxes, none worked. Tons of rotted playfields with parts still on them. Hundreds of monitors, coin doors, and other misc parts. If I had a permanent shop I would have snagged a lot more than I did. Just throwing this out there in case anyone is interested in going to take a look. As I'm writing this I found an ad they made for their warehouse. They listed their machines high, but they will negotiate to clear the warehouse so it could be worth it if you're close.

These are just down the road from my current location. I've tried to contact seller, but no answer. Not sure what the second machine is. Tread cautiously, this area is known for Formosan termites, and these appear to have been stored in less than ideal conditions.

Those games are gone.

#10662 1 year ago
Quoted from Pecos:

The second game is a Bally Wizard!, 1975. It appears to be in very poor shape.
I thought ‘gone’ meant toast, damaged beyond repair, destroyed, worthless, etc. I hope I am wrong and jag94 got them.

I did not get either machine, I got an email from the seller saying they were sold.

Quoted from bluespin:

What about that Jumping Jack at $300?

For reference, I sold this machine for $240. I come across decent deals every week, and pass on many of them because I don't need to fill my garage with machines that aren't on my want list. Not to mention bluespin is here posting multiple project machines on this thread every single day. In my opinion, if you aren't finding machines you may not be utilizing the correct resources to find them, or just have bad luck.

Is there anyone near Buffalo, NY (Hamburg) who could pick up a machine and hold onto it for me? Or someone you know in the area? I am willing to compensate you for your time and efforts as it is a machine I have been looking for. If you are willing to assist me please shoot me a message!
