Thanks Pecos - We'll see. I'd be just as happy trading for someone else's untouched project pin. I hand traced the cab design before stripping down the wood. I then made the mistake of transferring those tracings to a very thick, hard cardboard - it took days to cut out the patterns with an exacto knife. But I was very happy with the result.

I tried contacting the Taxi guy with no reply so far but I want to warn anyone interested there was a post on Pinside that the display is missing out of that machine also. So between display (only used in two machines & hard to find used) and the MPU plus other stuff that might be wrong with that machine it might not really be a bargain price? I have never owned a Taxi and would still love to try to purchase it but I am really wondering if the "deal" makes sense at this point.

The coin mechanism works but it's a little sticky because it never gets used I have it set on free play."

I was speaking to my cousin in NJ yesterday; she has an old woodrail (Gottlieb's Harbor Lites) that she'd like to sell.
-- She says it works, but you "have to touch two wires together to start it". (Needs new switch?)
-- Needs new rubbers (some are broken as you can see in the pics).
-- Backglass has a small rectangular section of paint missing
