Welcome zacaj! Great price on the Motordome even if it needs new boards. Thanks for posting it!

Quoted from songofsixpence:I'm kind of surprised he still has the Egghead. Seems most EM collectors like that one.
Once you have one Tic-Tac-Toe game, like OXO, it's only natural to consider others! But yeah, Egg Head is popular with collectors. At first glance, just looking at the pictures on the IPDB, I would prefer Square Head. It has the same theme but with two gobble holes instead of stand-up targets.
Nice looking Firepower for $750
Maybe not exactly a project, but ad says "needs adjustment" Probably needs caps, connectors, etc...
Nice looking playfield on that $750 Firepower and backglass looks good also from the pictures. From what I see that looks like a $900 to $1000 machine all day long?

Yeah, easily. And I'm just guessing on the boards, since they are not pictured.

Hey, that's my old Firepower that I sold back around May/June. It was a decent machine, I got it cleaned up and playing pretty well but those photos make it look better than it is. The backglass has a lot of ink rubbed off around the scores, and a glass chip that's hidden by the top plastic frame, ask to see a photo of the rear of it. I see the missing digits on players 3 & 4 were never fixed, although I gave him the parts to fix it. I would have crapped my pants to get 900-1000 for it.

Saw this a couple of days ago and have been wondering about the backglass. Guessing he tried to clean it when he got it inside and lots of paint flaked off. Otherwise the pictures just don't make sense.

Similarly, open offer: I can pick up anything in the upper half of New York and hold them for people, although I make no guarantees to when I might be driving somewhere, though I'd of course bring them along if I ever head that way. You just pay for gas. Discount if I'm allowed to set them up, and if you want, and it's an EM, I might even fix it for you (I enjoy working on them)

Manufacturer: Atari
Game/Type: Airborne Avenger / SS Widebody 4 Player
Year: September 1977
Production: 350 (!)
Cost: $650
Location: Wickliffe (Cleveland), OH
Link/Contact: cleveland.craigslist.org link
Condition: OP: "The cabinet isn't in terrible shape but is far from perfect. The legs and stainless could use a polish. I rescued this from a garage, spent about 5 nights cleaning it and making sure the wiring was correct. I'm going to give the whole machine a worse possible rating of 7/10, just to be on the safe side.
I replaced all the rubber, balls, removed, cleaned & waxed all the playfield parts.
The game plays but has a few outstanding issues.
As more time goes by, I'll be fixing these and less likely to make a deal.
Here's what I know is wrong:
Aux Board has a few bad diodes & resistors. (HustonPinball will repair all parts on board for $120.)
Upper Right Kick Out is OHM open. ($10-40 off ebay)
Lower Right Thumper is function but will need a rod in future. ($10 off ebay)
Audio is muffled/distorted."

Thanks! if for some reason it doesn't sell and you go to MGC, I can bring it with.

It looks like a cool game, but IMHO, the more I read the laundry list of problems, the less attractive that price became. At $100 it becomes a turd worth looking into.

Plus, parts are not cheap or easy to find, unlike the ad says.
Yep, the price is too high for an atari project pin.

Welcome wayout440!
This is the second project Airborne Avenger I've found which is somewhat surprising since only 350 were made. The price is higher for a project pin than I normally post but thought a collector out there with money might be interested so I included it.

By all means include any projects, regardless of the price. My opinions were just that, my own. Parts could be tough to come by in comparison to something like an early Bally. Just seems riskier than most. But someone dying for that title might be willing to take that chance.
