Like I mentioned mention it’s free for anybody that can come and take it and use Parts ! thank you ”

I’d be up for the challenge if it was in my backyard. What bothers me is how good the back glass looks compared to my woodrail that spent its entire life indoors.

I tried to buy a Gottlieb lock down bar at Pinfest for my 1967 Super Score. A rough one was $185, a nice one was $265. For the game I bought for $250.

Really? I had one in my hands that would work for your game, and I got the guy down to $125. I still passed. It was for a friend, and he didn't want to spend that much.

I probably had the same one in my hands. Middle of the main vendor area, halfway between Marco and the free play games? He had several Gottlieb EM bars. I searched Thursday afternoon and Friday AM before the doors opened. Price I got was Friday AM. I won't pay that kind of money for a lock bar, especially when I can still buy Gottlieb EM's below $300. I have a crappy one which will due for now. I don't care if the correct one with end caps, a later style fits.

I got 2 Shark fin bars for $75 each from the guy in the back corner of the flea market. Is this the bar you need?

Yes, I must of missed them. Those aren't the shark fin style, they have a triangle shaped tab on the underside.

Picked this up today, looks good. Seller texted since they are moving there is a truck in the driveway. GPS said I was there, saw the moving truck and backed up the driveway. Knocked on the door, "I'm here to pick up the pinball machine". Guy looks at me like WTF. "Your wife set it up". Turns out I was at the wrong house and the guy has 2 pinball machines and thought the wife was selling one without his knowledge. We had a good laugh. And no, his games aren't for sale, I asked!

Sounds like one of my crazy stories when I was picking up machines years ago. If it could happen it seemed to always happen to me.

Those are the Rocketland Coin-op guys. Commonly and affectionately referred too as the Junk Man, because he has insane tonnage of parts.
I bought a shark fin lockdown bar from him, but it was the wrong one, accidentally got a widebody instead of a standard. If anyone wants to swap, reach out!
Also since we’re in the project thread, I’m looking for a Shaq Attaq ramp! I still have that Stardust for sale if anyone is interested. And a CC Hollywood.

You nailed it, they haul the same crates of disorganized crap to Pinfest and York. Glad you found a deal. To his credit he added some newer titles to the usual collection of beat up EM's, overpriced SS projects and roached out PF's.

Damn. I'd actually buy that if it were closer, just for the epic restore thread I could do on here.
But if somebody was looking at a full restore, everything is available. Playfield, backglass, stencils, and plastics.

Ahh, the devil made me do it...Tasmanian devil that is... All in all, if you have a trashed paragon before parts were available, why not try your (albeit inexperienced) hands at a retheme...

Best part is they only had to replace 3 insert letters to retheme it! (PARAGON to CARTOON) So they were "crafty" AND lazy!

Original cabinet was three color (white, red, back). That one is four color with red changed to blue and also skin tone color added. Have to suspect it's been redone. Does look good!
