The East coast has always been the pinball Mecha. That’s where the big money was and logistics from Chicago to the east coast works out much easier. My Dad used to run a truck route daily from NY to Ohio. IL isn't much further!

I was offered a couple pins from one of my wanted ads on CL. I'm not interested in them but thought someone here might want them. 1968 Williams Hayburner II & 1974 Wiliiams Strato-Flite. Both have been sitting in a climate-controlled basement with a walk out. Not played for the last 20+ years and the rubbers are shot I was told.
I was contacted by the son of the owners looking for a price. They had an electrician doing some house work there who offered $500 each. When I inquired on the condition I was told "mint". After emailing back that 99.5% of unrestored pins of that era NEVER fall in the mint category and describing what "mint" means to me he came back with near mint. I'm waiting on pics, the owners are elderly and technology challenged.
Games are located in McLean VA, near the southern MD border. PM if interested.

Seller sent some pics and I would say from I can see on Strato-Flite, it looks pretty nice. Game was lit with score reels at zero, and player one was lit so I would guess the start up sequence is working. PF looked nice (through the glass) and cabinet had a couple scratches but good color. Clean coin door.

Interesting, that's the same lot that was for sale in Woonsocket, RI this weekend. I guess someone is going to flip them. Good for them. That third machine is a Genco Roly Poly, which I'd snag in a heartbeat if I were near Providence, but alas, I ain't.
