Barn find. Works and plays. Backglass is poor. Needs restoration. I have too many project games and selling off a few.
This is a kind of backwards notification of a project for sale:
Refer to this thread started by me: Worth Fixing - Wms Triple Strike
If I knew how to link it, I would. If nothing else, lots of good parts, including the plastics - they have the usual yellowing, no cracks.

This isn't a really a project but trying to help out a friend. Its a Williams Comet. From what I have seen and talked to him, it looks to be in good shape. Hes taking more pictures tonight of the backglass and ramps. He said ramps aren't cracked. It was his fathers but now they are selling it.

Decent looking "Ship Ahoy". Not sure if it's worth the asking price though.

Williams "Triple Action". Needs some adjustments.

Supposedly working. If you like clowns, but this game is a major snoozefest!
Really pricey for a dog of a game.

Pretty nicked up playfield, and custom graphics on the lightbox. Not one you see every day though.

54 miles away. I would already be on the road.
I was offered a Williams Disco Fever project game from my wanted ads. Located in Pittsburgh, it doesn't start. BG & PF show wear. Banana flippers are changed to standard. Seller said he needed to "unload it" so I think it could be bought cheap. PM with a cell and I'll send the pics I have and his contact info.

Hah! Well, rescued this one today.
And yes, she said it would have gone in the trash if no one bought it.
Picked it up for Murphdom who was the lucky high bidder.

The art on that is amazing. So... she's the queen of.... a swimsuit competition?
Quoted from truemagoo102:The art on that is amazing. So... she's the queen of.... a swimsuit competition?
That's the (idealized?) coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in the early 50s.
A swimsuit like that seems like a very odd choice, especially for the time.

I like the way the artist drew the bikini bottom slanted up on her backside to hide that butt cheek.

According to Wayne Neyens in one of his interviews, Dave Gottlieb would sometimes ask Roy Parker to cover up the girls a little more. So Roy would just add a few quick patches of cloth here and there.
#hayburners at a flee market in a bundle deal. Looks rough who knows what they would take for just it?

I don’t see a coin door or a lockdown bar.
Crosstown if anybody is interested.
Seems a bit high and features the famous advertising phrase "was working when I put it in storage 30 years ago".
bangerjay has a Gottlieb Soccer he's wanting to sell. No ad posted, just posted in the Chicago regional thread.
Quoted from bangerjay:Gottlieb soccer, playfield ok, cabinet a bit janky, backglass good, probably doesn’t work right $400?

Seems sketchy. Photos show the game set up. Didn't he plug it in and try it? I don't think those photos are 30 or more years old.
I've got a slight project, booting Escape From The Lost World that I'd pass along for what I have into it- 1600. Playfield is in great condition, cabinet is good, has the original playfield glass with decals. Displays are gassing. Playfield fuse is blowing so the solenoids aren't working, but the flippers are functioning nice and strong- honestly haven't looked into it. Will come with new rubbers and some spare parts. Just needing to clear some space out. Let me know if you're interested, or else I'll be working on it this week.
Quoted from jrpinball:Seems sketchy. Photos show the game set up. Didn't he plug it in and try it?
Sure but it didn't work.
Better to be vague in the listing than admit "I plugged it in and it did nothing"

Was hoping to nab this, perhaps one of y'all did already? $150 for a Gottlieb Surfer in Brooklyn. Haven't heard back so assuming its gone. PF looks great from pictures, pretty busted cab and needs some "simple fixes"

You never know keep trying. I found a game that was listed by its name and not pinball (go to search word) pretty cheap and I thought the same it was sold. Sent a message nothing. Week later sent another message and the next day started communicating with the seller. He was always a little slow with responding but in the end I ended up with another game.
