They probably bought the guy's lie that he walked a $500.00 offer.
After all I have seen in the last few months, people will believe anything. Even if not true.
Probably not a great deal given the condition but parts are pretty rare on these game plan games right?

I talked to him and was gonna grab it, but I’ve been sick for the past few days now. Hopefully next week sometime I can pick it up. Now that I’ve got my Captain Hook as a solid reference, it shouldn’t be too hard to build a new cabinet and head.

Maybe not the right thread to ask this but I hope it's quick enough here, citing relevant post, because I have to ask:
I'm curious on this game and h2h pins... but this one has no controlled lamps, no targets, not even spinners? So it's basically pin-pong with 8 flippers, but 2 pops to block shots and randomize action, with the sole goal being to get the ball to your opponent's drain?
How is this to play? I'm intrigued but part of me suspects it would be a sad bore after a while, especially for one player. Or maybe there's more to it that's not evident?
Quoted from goingincirclez:I'm curious on this game and h2h pins... but this one has no controlled lamps, no targets, not even spinners? So it's basically pin-pong with 8 flippers, but 2 pops to block shots and randomize action, with the sole goal being to get the ball to your opponent's drain?
Pretty much, but there's an additional feature. If you get the ball through the tunnel in the middle of the playfield, it disables your opponent's flippers for a few seconds.
When I brought my game to a show a few years back, folks seemed to have a blast playing it.

Great art and theme but looks like a dog of a player. Anyone ever play one?
Quoted from John_in_NC:Great art and theme but looks like a dog of a player. Anyone ever play one?
Yep... dull as can be. It's the standard autopilot Gottlieb design: "lanes, pops, middle thing, drains"... without the middle thing.
Quoted from John_in_NC:Great art and theme but looks like a dog of a player. Anyone ever play one?
Played one at Pintastic. Good looking game, but not much to do. Not the worst, but nothing much as a player.
