Quoted from Daditude:

It is a highly desirable game, priced below market value, ready to play, and it's just tons of fun. It looks great, has that play it again quality, and it is definitely challenging. System 11 games are well made (easily the best of their time era) and easy to work on. Pinbot is THE GAME most people they think of when recalling mid-late 80s games.
It is also in the movie "Big"
If all else fails...remind her that these go up in price, so it is more like an investment.[quoted image]

Pinbot...not a good game at all, don't mess with it. I mean it's got no good mechs, the layout is right flipper heavy, there's a bagatelle??? Who would like this game?

Flash for $500

Located in Berryville, VA

Looks to be extremely beaten up on the playfield. Not sure it even would be worth $500 in that bad of shape.

The last picture the playfield actually looks fairly nice.

Yeah that was my reasoning for saying it was a good deal. The playfield looks to be in good shape, the carved up backbox eeeh, not so much. Easier to restore that than the playfield though.

I'm the opposite. I think I may be the only guy that sees these deals and says "oh thank god it's not close." Not even being sarcastic. When a great deal pops up close you almost feel an obligation to buy. I love them but have no room.

The last person learned a lesson the hard way (Pinbot seller), , , suddenly had a million offers, each larger than the next! So many emails they couldn't keep track of them all!!!

I assume you're referring to Wesley Goodin's games... I bought a pin from him sight unseen years ago... pin was BETTER than expected... stand up guy, at least from my past experience.

I don't want to but may put a game up for sale in the near future. My wife is a collector of various things also and I think we are on the verge of being on Hoarders. I'm going to have to condense a bit to make room for her vintage Christmas collection. My other solution is to store a game under other games. I have done that before.

At what point does it turn into storage jenga?

Space is always an issue. I recently sold a game I was hesitant to sell, but the buyer was my friend and he's been asking for it pretty much since I got it so it was a "good" sale. But I wish I had space for a few more games.

My wife is a collector too and thankfully, we collect the same things

It is kinda funny how some think the original documents are more appealing than the spot of the playfield most likely to be trashed.

Middle Earth project for sale. $400. Shopped the playfield, it's beautiful. The backglass is excellent. It's all complete, just not working.

It's got a new mpu driver board, I would imagine it's going to shoot up in price by the end of the day.

Yes, but he's also got the drop target boards in the wrong order, so probably having some reset issues with them. If anybody here grabs it, just shoot me a message and I can get you sorted out.

Didn't blackout have speech? If so, it's missing the speech board.

Yes it came with speech, which looks to be missing.

I contacted the seller for nothing more than the sheer entertainment value asking if it was included.

Well how would you know about the drop target boards I wonder?

Awesome of you to offer the technical help if a Pinsider (or anyone I'm sure) picks it up.

Are speech boards hard to come by?

Kohout makes speech boards at a very decent price. I'd easily recommend it.

Yep, there’s some visible wear if you look closely. It looks like the flippers removed paint but not in a wiping pattern like if they were dragging. Odd.

Looks like it was stored and the flippers were in the up position. Then kind of melted to the field.
