The Pinside ad says $400 obo, but the link in the ad says auction. If you can get a working Joker Poker Project for $400 do it! It may be a misleading random price just to get you to look at the Pinside ad.

Great price even if all boards need replacement, but, sadly, the auction house does not offer delivery services or allow for buyer to schedule delivery company. Limits sale to locals.

Manufacturer: Bally
Game/Type: Spy Hunter / SS 4 Player
Month/Year: October 1984
Production: 2,300
Cost: $450
Location: Wrightsville, PA
Link/Contact: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1413885755408760/posts/2190563987740929

Me: Cabinet has wear, playfield has major wear, lights turn on but game doesn't boot, and sound board/mpu is literally burnt up. Nice coin door though, and cabinet is repairable. Good candidate to use the cabinet and coin door to restore a more valuable game (Fathom, Centaur, Playboy, EK, etc.). Get the game fully booting, use the cabinet to restore another -17/-35 Bally pin and have a good working board set and working transformer left over.

I've been following the drama on this one. Current seller bought this one from someone selling it for ~ $200, took pictures of it loaded up in his truck in the seller's driveway and posted it for sale seconds later for $1300. Got called out for flipping and said "it wasn't the same machine" even though it somehow has the same wear on the playfield. They took *that* post down.

Now, lo: it is $450, mostly because it is a pile of parts.

Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Big Indian /EM
Year: February 1974
Production: 8,030
Cost: $250
Location: Brunswick, OH
Link/Contact: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Pinball4sale/posts/4841271755899585

Op: Big indian pinball machine. Its a project machine. Back glass is flaking. The original cabinet had damage from insects and was not usable so the playfield and control board were swapped into the donor domino cabinet. The playfield has a few small holes from the insects as does the head but they're very minimal. A exterminator treated the cabinet and head about a year ago now with no new signs of insects. Previous owner partially disassembled the drop targets as shown in the pics. Have not plugged the machine in. Playfields in very nice condition and would clean up nice. Machine does not have a lockdown bar, legs,, or backbox cover. Shipping is not available. Pm me for any questions you may have.

Me: Big project. No lockdown bar, legs or backdoor, flaking backglass and evidence of termite damage (treated?).

OP: Going to be honest I have 0 history on this game and don't know the functionality of it. I do know it has power when plugged in but that is it. Bought this with a group of other things in a garage. I do not know the value everything is here for the game and no major scratches or chucks out of the cabinet $500 obo located Monticello indiana 47960

Post on Mr Pinball this AM:

Melody, 1967 Gottlieb: 595.00
In storage for quite awhile. Needs work. Playfield nice, backglass has flaking in top right corner and bottom right corner. (I believe reproduction glass is available). Cabinet painted white. Have stencils for repaint to original. Lockdown bar does not fit properly. Great add a ball player. Number 6 or 7 on playability list. Only 500 produced. Lot less have survived. Price reflects condition. Great machine to bring back to its original glory. Local San Francisco Bay area pickup or buyer arranges shipping and pays for shipping expenses.

Great Quicksilver build material there. One flipper mech has wrong bat and missing components. The transformer is worth $200. I hope someone in this group gets this.

And in the 4-place drop target assembly, and the lock down bar. Actually, add in the cabinet and back box. A steal at $200.00.

I picked up that Xenon four weeks ago, made the drive to Staten Island the first night it was listed before anyone else swooped in. Surprised the Lost World and Comet are still there, they weren't fantastic but not terrible either (except for Lost World's peeling backglass). The pins all came from a hoarder house he had bought.

What were they asking for the Lost World and Comet?

I believe the LW was 1200 and the Comet he hadn't priced yet because he had to clean a mouse house out of the playfield.

No idea why he would still have Xenon in the ad, except maybe to generate interest.

Williams Triple Action -NJ- $500 OBO

"1974 Williams Triple Action pinball machine. This is being sold as a project machine. Playfield is in good shape, but could use cleaning. Hasn’t been gone through. Electronics look to be in ok shape. I plugged it in once and it basically works. Definitely needs to be gone through. Side art is good, just needs a cleaning. Back glass is in poor condition, and could be restored/replaced. Playfield glass is also cracked comes with original paper work and manuals. Just needs some one who want to bring it back to life!"

Obviously, this pin was priced too low. The seller probably got hit hard with the circling sharks and said " Not so fast".

Multiple projects from the same seller on Mr Pinball today:

Circus, 1980 Gottlieb: $950
Super widebody project machine. Nice playfield + decent second playfield. Some parts missing from each, but together you'll have all the parts (but only 1 has a rototarget). Additional NOS plastic set. Cabinet decent, boards rough (I'd buy a pi-80 x4 to replace them.) 2 backglasses - one has crazing, still nice; one has flaking, just Okay.
Anthony Kapolka

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Disco Fever, 1978 Williams: $1000
Project machine. Mostly repopulated NOS clearcoated playfield, looks gorgeous. Reasonable mirrored backglass - a 7 or 8/10. Extra plastic set. 2 NOS sets of banana flipper rubbers. Complete board set, unknown condition. Plus, a whole additional machine that students rewired to work under computer control (no boards, custom backglass - think parts only) last used at the 2006 Allentown pinball show. Between the two you should be able to assemble a really beautiful machine.
Tony Kapolka
[email protected], Wilkes-barre, Pennsylvania
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Flash, 1978 Williams: $1250
Project machine. Blank NOS playfield clearcoated 10+ years ago, probably should be reshot; perfect NOS backglass; second, serviceable backglass; cabinet in good shape; stencil set for repainting cabinet; board set, condition unknown; mostly stripped beater playfield; loose playfield parts, harness; plastics missing right slingshot. Has spent over a decade in storage - needs reassembly and a careful going over. Likely something minor is missing, but with a NOS playfield + backglass, this could be a beautiful machine.
Anthony Kapolka
[email protected], Wilkes-barre, Pennsylvania
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haunted House, 1982 Gottlieb: $1000
A hot mess of a project machine. One cabinet, decent shape. Two upper playfields, two main playfields, one lower playfield, all completely stripped and retouched - Okay repaint but not for close examination. I'd rate from 6-8/10. All playfield parts are loose; not positive they are all there but they were boxed up. Since there is only one lower field, that's the weak link. New replacement spiderweb plastic. Lots of playfield plastics, but maybe not a full set (although some are NOS). Full board set, unknown condition. Backglass is fair; some delaminating, taped I think. Second NOS backglass has giant flaking from storage; am trying not to cry over it. Priced so I don't have to fuss with this- add time and money and you'll come out ahead.
Anthony Kapolka
[email protected], Wilkes-barre, Pennsylvania
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mars God of War, 1981 Gottlieb: $950
Project machine. Good cabinet and playfield; nice double paned backglass; extra plastics set, but one chipped. Complete set of boards but missing game ROM, will need repair (I'd buy a pi-80 x4 and be done with it.)

Sounds like someone started a full tear down on both Haunted House pins and stopped. Repro playfields are available from Mirco and backglasses from BGresto and Coos. It’s a major project and a gamble.

Yeah the whole ad kinda rubs me the wrong way- I've bought these kinds of projects before and have spent a TON of time and effort playing detective- almost always parts are wrong or missing. But I'd love for a Pinsider to pick one of these and show progress pictures. So someone more brave (naive) - go for it!
