OP: This is a one player Gottlieb coin operated pinball that is being sold as a project! The game lights up and bells ring but does not play, may be a easy fix or a summer project for someone, I looked it up on the pinball database and it has a high ranking of 7.6 out of 10 so it may be really in demand if repaired, I do not want to trade for anything so dont ask, just want to sell it also has the manuals as shown, I am firm on the price!!

I have a project fire power in CLE if anyone is interested. Was working great and then a few switches stopped working, sounds like a switch matrix issue to me, or possibly a short.

Welcome ktrain315! Thanks for posting the project Firepower. I would love to have it in my collection but a 2,044 mile trip is just a tad too much!

I would buy both his machines right now. I had a star race once but was overwhelmed with projects and I traded to Jeremy Fleitz who run the Louisville Arcade Expo with his brother Matt. It's a super cool, actually rare game. I wish I would have kept it. He got it running and it was at the LAX this last year.

The roller coaster Project Pin prices that were up a month ago have fallen a lot recently. There are a lot of good games out there for low prices. I'm thinking that people are selling their old pinballs that have stopped working for vacation money. This was the situation for the Strike Zone that I recently picked up. Now is a good time to dig some coins out of the piggy bank and cash out of the mattress to buy that project pin that you have been wanting. Project pin too far away? Make a vacation out of the pick up!

#2028 3 years ago

Yes have finally started to see some decent projects pop up after at least a year of pinball drought.

#2029 3 years ago

I just listed a corvette project on Craigslist. I bought it as a partially working project. Now it is at least a fully working project lol. It's been passed around to pinsiders for a couple of years I believe

Hah, I just said it because you didn't edit it after your second post so I wasn't sure you got what I meant, didn't wanna sound like I was calling a Williams a Williams for no reason ("that it is"), that'd be silly. Simply posted again for my own accord incase I didn't make any sense, wasn't trying to be an ass. Damn. Glad you got it, though.

No hard feelings I hope.

Manufacturer: Williams
Game/Type: Honey / EM 4 Player
Month/Year: May 1972
Production: 6,301
Manufacturer: Williams
Game/Type: Moulin Rouge / EM 1 Player
Month/Year: May 1965
Production: 1,325
Cost: $400 For both
Location: Tempe (Phoenix), AZ
Link/Contact: phoenix.craigslist.org link
Condition: OP: "I'm selling two **non-working** electro-mechanical pinball machines for a great price of $400 for both. Please read the ad carefully.
Details:
1972 Williams "Honey"
Bad news first: No backglass, no back panel, some playfield wear.
Good news: I shopped this machine about a year ago. All score reels and steppers cleaned and very lightly lubed (PTFE only). Flipper coils / sleeves replaced. Many switches cleaned and adjusted. Plastics and playfield thoroughly cleaned (Novus 2) and new rubbers, shooter tip, rebound ring installed. Plastics in good shape.
I've played this machine many times and had no problems. The other day I turned it on a popped a fuse. I started to look into the cause, but it wasn't immediately apparent and I no longer have time to work on my machines. I believe that whatever is wrong with Honey will be an easy fix, even for a novice as long as he or she has the time to look over the machine. This would be a great starter machine for someone looking to get into pinball repair.
1965 Williams "Moulin Rouge"
Bad news first: Missing flipper coil (right), no back panel, reds in backglass flaking (common - see images), no legs, lock relay is damaged and will need replaced and switch stack rebuilt, missing ball eject rollovers and someone took several screws out of the machine which left switch stacks hanging. Also has some playfield wear (see images), cab splitting near leg bolt holes (see image), and cab and head have been repainted in a theme that differs from the original design.
Good news: The machine is fairly rare and in decent shape aside from the bad news mentioned above. The plastics are intact and mechs all move relatively smoothly. This machine is one that will take a bit of time to fix, but I estimate that the total parts cost will be below $100 (some pop bumper caps will need replaced).
I have the rubber kit for Moulin Rouge that I will gladly let go with the machine."

Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Pioneer / EM 2 Player
Month/Year: March 1976
Production: 3,625
Cost: $350
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Link/Contact: philadelphia.craigslist.org link
Condition: OP: "This is a non operating Gottlieb Pioneer pinball machine. According to www.pinrepair.com/gtb/spirit.htm there were 3,625 Gottlieb Pioneer pinball machines produced. The one I have shows obvious damage on its wood surface in different areas of both cabinet plus back board. There are scratches, chips and some marks. The worst damage in my opinion would be a big chip near left back leg towered lower outer section of cabinet as shown on last 2 photos. A few plastic playfield graphic covers are cracked and the key for coin return door plus back panel is missing. The graphics look pretty clean on main playfield area. The back board graphics are exceptionally clean and clear for being original as well. There are however a few minor fade spots due to light bulb heat. The back board is the only area which currently lights up on this machine. The playfield area was in semi working order. Then it recently stopped working all together. I had full intentions of doing some restorations to this vintage pinball machine. Just recently I decided to uncover it and give a good air cleaning plus use some electric contact spray cleaner all around. Afterwards I then powered it up and everything was in semi working order. The ball return was functioning along with both flippers. All the contact bumpers were even functioning. During play mode as the ball pressed each bumper contact it then engaged 3 different bell sounds plus score board would automatically change. But not accurately. Sometimes during play mode it would keep dinging plus the score would constantly spin around. When that occurred you would just have to hit reset which would then zero out the score on both players. Both 1 and 2 player options did the same thing for a little while. Then after a few days of trying different things it sadly stopped working on playfield area all together. It does not even light up anymore. I checked each bus fuse but nothing seems to be blown? Also I only have 1 game ball for this pinball machine. I do however have all the original paperwork that goes to this machine. That would include a few diagrams! I have both the locking brace plus glass cover for this pinball machine. I just forgot to take photos of them before removal due to all the inner photos that were taken. There are only some light scratches on the glass surface. I can take photos of both locking brace and glass cover separately plus email them upon request. The same goes for diagrams plus its original paperwork. Regardless of its current condition this vintage pinball machine is worth what I am asking. It can either be repaired or used for parts. If you are interested in viewing please feel free to email me anytime and I will respond back promptly. Thank you!"
