These pins are less than a mile from me. But there is no address. It is an auction. I called the estate seller this afternoon inquiring if they can be seen before bidding, do they work, condition, etc.

I'm still waiting for a return call.

The Vector is at about $300 on the bid the EM around $50 bucks and the Harley $500 if I were that close I would probably make a bid or two

Thanks. I finally found the bid page. The pin is less than one half mile from me. I'm not interested but my operator friend is interested. But he is looking for cheap. I think he tops out at $300.00.

Rare Prototype Bally Mystic project for 1500 in TX.

Quoted from tomdrum:

I've had 2 over the last 20 years. Beautiful game, but once you get the horseshoe shot down, you can kill it. Nail it, catch the ball on the opposite flipper, repeat. My best was over a dozen times on the same ball.

My sbm is fast playing. The horseshoe shot is tight as hell. Some games I hit it, some not. The game is simplistic but challenging for me.

#20356 10 days ago

Should clean up nice! Great grab for whoever got it.

Quoted from Slogan1111:

I put bigger posts on my horseshoe entry's, made it much more challenging to hit and sends the ball sdtm more often.. Makes for a lot shorter game play.

I was so tempted to chase after this one add was up longer then I thought it would be. It was only about 6 hours from me... then there’s the drive home

It was 15 minutes from me but someone else got it first, oh well.

ESTATE SALE - FRI 05/07 - SAT 05/08

Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Sure Shot / EM 1 Player
Month/Year: March 1976
Production: 3,700
Location: Ho Ho Kus, NJ
Link/Contact: https://www.estatesales.net/NJ/Ho-Ho-Kus/07423/2864985

Me: All of the inserts in the rack are lined up correctly, which is unusual for this title. The glue that Gottlieb used on their inserts this year was really bad, leading to inserts coming loose. This looks like a nice example.

I just came from looking at both of these pins.

Jungle Queen has nice play field and flaky back glass.

Score motor will not stop to spinning. It will need an EM mechanic.

Vector was heavily routed. Much play field wear. Starts/ Lights work. Credits up. Will not launch a ball. The outhole kicker arm is broken. it is plastic. Marco sells them for $24.00 but it is out of stock. It is a rare part and according to my OP friend only 3 or 4 Ballys used this part. You will be looking for a hens' tooth. Plastics are not in good condition. Needs complete shop job.

Both pins have not been played for years.

FYI for that estate sale:
15% Buyers Premium
8% Sales Tax
Items must be picked up by 5/16 so if you're shipping, you've got to have that pre-arranged. Items left after 5/16 are forfeited, no refunds

For those interested in the Flash Gordon or Star Trek:

Flash Gordon video (machine seems to boot, lots of playfield wear, no sound, cabinet really faded, no keys but coin door is open but likely means backbox lock needs to be drilled out for disassembly). Current bid $183.

Star Trek video (machine does not boot but GI lights up, playfield not bad, cabinet ok, has both keys). Current bid $200.

I'd be interesting in playing up to a certain point if this was local to me.

I’m going to post a street fighter II project if anyone is interested. When I got it, it wasn’t booting but now it boots with a repro mpu.

She’s pretty rough with some corrosion and a few missing pieces but would sell to a pinsider in this thread for $900. Not looking to ship. PM if you’re interested and I’ll send a link to photos.

Looks like they changed it since I posted. Could have sworn it was BIN when I looked at it earlier today.

Sorry about the location confusion... I've only rarely been to the west coast.

That one has a plastic behind the center targetsnext to the lower pop bumper. Mine has a chrome piece as do many others. Which is the right one?

That looks like a "problem area" on that machine so my guess would be they were originally released with a playfield plastic their and then sometime down the road either Bally or some aftermarket company made the chrome replacement instead of having a plastic their that always got broken. Just a guess on my part but that would be the way I would "call it".

Old Chicago
Bally em
$750
Norcross GA
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/188848613060958/

Me: I looked at this. Really nice backglass 9/10, playfield 8, cabinet 3/4, coin door 5. He claimed that two people offered $500. I didn’t buy it because the front panel was badly delaminated, as were the bottom corners of the cabinet. I suspect it was sitting flat on the concrete and water damage on lower cabinet. Looked nice inside.

At least it has a better play field than the one that sold in Wichita for $975.00 yesterday.

Vector and Medusa are two games that seem to me to be loaded with features that stretch the capabilities of the AS-2518-35 MPU too thin. Awkward rulesets and gameplay (though Medusa is certainly beautiful).

#20396 4 days ago

I’m still new enough to the hobby that every machine still seems exciting. That is slowly starting to wear off...

I disagree. I find it challenging with many opportunities to choose from during game play.

However, it is one of those machines that seems to be love it or hate it.
