Weird... I'm realizing now, I never got a CL notification for that 2001. I see the search in my search list, and when I click it the 2001 ad shows up, but there's no email in my inbox for it

I use the app and I don’t have alerts if that makes a difference.

Quoted from Murphdom:

He sent me some more pictures that aren’t shown in the listing. Someone go get it.

I'm a little bit tempted myself. Still have a project in my garage and repainting a ball bowler though.

I've never been happy with CL notifications - they don't seem to work consistently for me.

I feel like they used to work way better and then for the past year I've been getting less and less. I attributed it to the market drying up, but this is the second time I've missed a pin because I just never got notified at all

You didn’t get the email, but the ad is still up.

Here is video of a guy playing a Trident that he made some new code for. It looks like fun. As I am starting to learn a little more about these Stern MPU 100 pins I am getting a lot of respect for them. If this one was closer, I would be going for it.

I got one for free once. It was going to get chucked because it didn't work. I looked inside the head, and said, "yeah the power supply is missing" (thinking it was in the head like a Bally). It was in decent shape, and I took it home and got it working pretty easily after discovering that indeed the power supply is in the cabinet! Decent player, but couldn't stand the sounds! I ended up trading it for an EM.

I only recently found out the sounds are pot-adjustable on the SB-100. Though I can't confirm because I won't dare touch the one in my Trident. It actually sounds great and must've been adjusted before I got it 20 years ago. I didn't even realize it was "supposed" to be the same horrible, grating sounds that I've heard come out of Dracula, Wild Fyre, and such.

There was also a change in some components that shifted the tones a bit 'deeper' after the first few SB-100 games. So the earlier games were much screechier than the last couple. Those first few SB-100 games sound sooooooo bad that I can't play them.

I know two other Pinsiders that were/are trying to buy it. Either the seller is too lazy to take the ad down, or it's in a bidding war.

Purchased way too many machines last year almost 50. Taking a mild break unless its a solid state machine. There is always room for one of those. Still have a hand full of em's Joe, take a ride down.

Were the majority of Firecrackers made as German models? I always see the German version, and rarely see an English version.

I wanted to bid on the Astro, but couldn’t justify missing half a day of work. When bidding got over $500, I felt like I would just drive up the price for the guy who was going to win it.

That Fleet was pretty cool, was only $30 for a while, then jumped to $300 near the end.

Jeez. I’d let my EK project go for that kinda money. It would even include a CPR playfield and plastics.

I was thinkin' the same...

#19491 3 years ago
Quoted from jibmums:

Debra Lafave: Schoolteacher. One of her students was being treated to a good time, but like all teenage boys, he had to blab to his friends. Word got around and back to the boy's mom who had a come-apart that her young son had been damaged.
----------------------------------------------------------

I suppose if she looked like this, every body would have blew a gasket and pinched their nose and said that bitch needs to be punished.

image (resized).jpegimage (resized).jpeg

But the hot teacher looked how she looked; The kind every hot blooded boy fantasizes about; A lot of boys and a lot of old farts would have been more than willing to have taken that "damaged" kid's place.

Change some facts: if it was a male teacher having sex with an underage female would it be ok?

Throw her ass in jail, same standard applies.

Quoted from bluespin:

Good question. I don't know the answer. I have had the same observation.

A better question is why have they all come back ?

#19494 3 years ago
Quoted from jibmums:

I was thinking Christina Applegate (Kelly from Married with Children).

The playfield on that EK is better than mine, someone really wanted it-looked like it would clean up well.

The Playboy had my eye-always remember playing that when it came out, love the catcall on coin-up. For $1750-looked like it was a good buy even with fees...

Uh no it’s not the same. Should it be?? Maybe but it’s not the same. I doubt the boy will spend any time crying into his pillow over being seduced.

EKs, Playboys are strong sellers; I checked all of the results - seems more like retail or high retail if in good shape; I didn't see anything really out of line but I didn't click on any of the links, so I could be wrong based on condition of those that were sold.
