Sou ds like the cosmetic part of a 2.0 kit, not the full kit.

Cheap. Looks like the player 1 display might be bad, same for player 2.

Generally a lurker on here, but wanted to ask a quick repair question. Is there a recommended ratchet screwdriver with bits set I should get to work on my Bally Williams machines (or should I just get the bits for my drill)? I was putting LEDs in and I need to detach a few of the light housings to get to them under the playfield. Do people have proffered tools?

Really the wrong thread to ask that question, but a drill doesn't belong anywhere near a pinball machine, IMHO.

Screwdrivers and nutdrivers should handle nearly any of those situations.

Thanks, I'm guessing I can/should look for ones that are magnetized so I don't drop anything? Would that cause any risks with a machine?

Again apologies for posting here, I just figured since this is a project pins thread, many of you would have a lot of experience working on pins.

Some people just love to play rent a mod. Good luck with your restore/repair.

This is a thread for buying/selling project games.

I would recommend starting a new thread with your questions--you will likely be able to have a more thorough discussion there.

No, as ForceFlow (a moderator no less) indicated, he/she will get better answers in an appropriate thread.

As an aside, I did find a perfect answer on another thread after diving through the forums a bit more. Thanks all and apologies for the off topic post.

Buy this so that we can get this long term CL ad off of my local email notification list. Just kidding?

I thought that I was the only one that posted dad jokes in this forum. Welcome to the club.

Wasnt referring to forceflows comment. It was the other before him.

Space Shuttle

$299.00

1984 Williams “Space Shuttle” pinball machine. Lights work but play does not reset. Needs work. Telford Pa. Pick up only Telford Pa.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/250540996403952

I'd take the chance if it were closer to me, but don't want to risk needing a System 9 MPU. It could be power supply or something minor.......Actually, probably worth it even if the MPU needs to be replaced.

There’s a new guy making Williams boards. I don’t know if he’s making system 9 mpus yet.

Know very little about EMs, so I can't tell what machine it is..but for $49 as the seller says "It's in pieces and would and would be best used for decor"..who knows?

Judging by the photo, the machine appears to be booting. So that is a very good sign. At minimum it may need the batteries replaced (assuming they have not leaked) or the onboard ram needs to be replaced. It may be a good buy for someone.

You can make one for yourself, in fact: https://github.com/AmokSolderer/APC

Not my ad. Sounds like a great deal. Hope someone here gets it!

This popped up again on FB Marketplace. This same ad was up a few months ago. Buyer beware.

Really wish I could get that Mini Zag, birth year pin for my wife. Looks like Wiggler in reverse minus the multi ball

#19196 3 years ago

Too Late. Seller jumped price to 250. Kinda of a crap shoot...BG has some flaking and the metal trim around the BG is rusted. Since this is near the Atlantic, have to assume the rest of the game could be a rust bucket. Maybe some termites too.
