Valley Fair is a theme park just south of Minneapolis known for their rollercoasters, and the Jolly Green Giant is from Minnesota and features heavily in Minnesota advertising. I wonder if there was some tie-in at some point between the two.
I wonder how the hell it ended up in Georgia though.
Are you picking this one up PapaKilo?

Nope just spreading the word to see if anyone else will pick it up. Wouldn't want it to end up in the trash.

Just FYI, Jaybird Auctions sells for Coinop Warehouse. Pinball is not their primary business and you should carefully inspect any of their machines - they are sold "as-is". Good deals can certainly be found, but be sure to check them out closely. They also add an 18% buyer's premium.

It is actually Lloyd's (owner of Coinopwarehouse) daughter and the building they have the auctions in is actually Lloyd's building. So in a way it is Coinopwarehouse doing an auction. Not that it really matters but Lloyd is Lloyd and sometimes you can get a great deal / other times not so much! Bottom line is look things over well before you buy.

Well, I was thinking a possibility with Meteor. But the back glass is real flaky. The play field needs some work. The boards are not hooked up. And I have been around enough now that I want to see what is under the play field. Add in that 18% buyer premium and shipping at the current $200.00 bid and that takes me out.

As I explained to the wife, if we can buy the house with the 6 car garage we'll have room for a puck bowler, Skee-ball, a crane game and the coin pusher you always wanted instead of just old boring pins and video games...

Maybe one of the old 70s/80s bally williams that have less pitch on the glass lol. The newer ones will have your coffee sliding off all the time (been there done that LOL)

1975 Gottlieb '300' pinball machine backbox w/ glass - $100 (Inner SE Portland)
condition: fair
make / manufacturer: Gottlieb
Mostly complete backbox section of a 1975 Gottlieb '300' electromechanical coin operated arcade pinball machine. Most of the EM parts are there, missing a couple springs and pins but the major stuff is intact. Backglass has some flaking but isn't completely trashed. Cabinet itself has a lot of character but is all there.
Good parts? Make it into a curio cabinet? Elaborate house for you cat? Lots of possibilities!
seller:
1968 Williams Lady Luck Pinball - $800
make / manufacturer: Williams
model name / number: Lady luck
This is a really fun game where you play 21 against the 'dealer' and one of the few games with strategic draining.
Before a player plunges their ball, they can look up on the backglass to see the dealers score. After plunging, various game features award points on the second score reel that serves as the 'players hand'. If a player is beating the dealer, they can let their ball drain for an immediate extra ball. If the player drains with 21, they get 300 points PLUS the extra ball. Really unique, fun, and challenging game from the era.
This machine has had well over 30 hours of work into it to get it restored. Metal parts have been tumbled, mechanisms disassembled and rebuilt all contacts gone through, etc. Glass has some flaking and isn't in the best shape. Play field has seen better days. Coin mech works. This is a good solid player
I also have another one that is 90% working that was restored side by side with this one. It has another many hours of work poured into it but I find myself in need of space and will be selling it as a project. I believe it has a nicer playfield than the working one but the glass does have some water damage at the bottom. Score reels, ball & player count, and playfield scoring all work but under specific conditions the saucer holes will cause score motor to spin indefinitely.
Photos with lights on are the working machine.
$800 for the working machine
$350 for the project
$1100 takes both.

heap solid state pinball - $175 (Louisville)
I have a project 1977 Gottlieb cleopatra pinball machine for sale. It definitely needs some love, one of the legs has been damaged, buts it's all there. The backglass looks decent and the playfield is dirty but looks good under the grime. This would be the cheapest way to get a solid state machine. OP:
I recently picked up a 1961 Williams Space Ship project pin as part of a package deal. Not something I was after, and I’m not an EM guy, so looking to see if there’s any interest out there for this gem. It’s a low production (800 made) but rough pin, so hoping to find the right person that would love a good project. The biggest challenge will be restoring the playfield artwork. Could also be repurposed, rethemed or used for parts?
The Good:
- The plastics are all there and appear original and in good condition. (Some of the plastics are wavy).
- The plastic posts and other playfield pieces also appear all present and in decent shape.
- The game mostly works. Sometimes its hard to get the coin to give it the ok to start a game, and sometimes the game goes into this bell ringing spurt that eventually cures itself when you continue playing it. May be a ball count issue, stuck switch or issue with sensing how many balls have been played, not sure. I'm guessing a thorough cleaning/adjusting would cure a lot of this.
- The flippers, poppers and slings etc work.
- Reproduction backglass is available for this game.
The Bad:
- Cabinet, legs and coin door have been painted.
- The back glass is flaky with a fair bit of paint loss.
- The playfield is also has a fair bit of paint loss. Also, someone in the past added wood putty on the playfield near the ball launch kickout and also near the top of the playfield where the ball trail arches around on launch.
- The lockdown bar looks to be hacked up. Not sure how it is supposed to attach, all I know is that it has been altered.
I'm by no means qualified to fully described this game, so review the photos, and let me know if you have questions or want additional photos. I prefer in-person transactions so buy knows exactly what their getting. This is sold as-is, cash only. Also includes misc paperwork from purchase, schematics, etc.
Let me know if you have questions or want additional photos. $210 OBO

Thanks for plug! This is my ad, hoping this pin can go to someone passionate about bringing it back to life. The theme and graphics are too cool! I'd much rather have that happen than it get rethemed or repurposed into who knows what. Bottom line, its gotta go, and I just dropped the price today. Thanks!

Glad to help! If I was into EM's, I'd pick it up myself! So refreshing to see a descriptive, honest, and well written pinball ad on CL. Not to mention an extremely reasonable asking price. All things I don't normally expect in a CL pinball ad.
