Saw a Williams Laser Ball set out for bulk pickup in the alley between 3900 block of Flora Place and 3900 block of Russell at 7:30 am this morning. Was not in the best of shape, but thought I would post in case someone local wanted to try and rehab it before scrap metal folks grabbed it. Sorry that I didn't have my phone with me when I was out for a walk, so no photos.

If you have a Revenge From Mars Pinball 2000, you could use this kit to convert it to SWE1. There was one locally advertised in the SF Bay Area, so track that down, buy this and you have two pinball machines!

But its still way overpriced.

Thanks for posting here nascarrey ! I picked it up for 50% off today, the last day of the sale. No rust on the coin door or on the underside of the playfield, and some flaking on the backglass, but it appears to be working 100%. It even came with a custom mod which explains my high score. Can you spot the mod?

Every body has their way of doing things. For removing nicotine that feels like it is a permanent part of the pin, I used Zip Industrial Purple. But there is trick for best results. Get a sprayer, if you want. Take the play field from the cab. If you are going to clean the right side of the cab, lay it on its left side. Either spray some Zip on and let it sit for a few minutes or soak a wash cloth and let the Zep sit for a little bit. After it sits for maybe 30 seconds the nicotine will wipe right off. Maybe it needs to sit for 60 seconds. But don't leave it on too long and get the cab soaking wet.

You can opt to spray it on a vertical surface but it is more tricky because you wind up with tiger stripes.

You can buy it at Home Depot.

Be careful with this stuff. It is caustic to your hands and lungs. Were gloves ! and a mask! If you don't have mask then hold your breath. It does not give off any fumes so using it inside is OK.

Use it at full strength.

Wax trick: I use cotton balls. They allow you to apply a thin coat of carnauba. It is easier to control and keep the wax off of your posts. Or just use your bare hands. Throw the sponge applicator away.

One of the greats. I had a nice C-37 for 15 years but the play never did it for me. Sold it for good money, shoulda held out for a trade for a Jacks Open or Lucky Hand.

Williams Crossword.

I've been really interested by Jaybird Auctions. They post a LOT of pins over time and I'm curious what the actual prices end up going for. Some fairly good stock from time to time.

Lloyd and his son Ben ran Coinop Warehouse. Ben left to open Coinop Amusements also in Hagerstown. Lloyd consigns items with his daughter who runs Jaybird Auctions. I’m sure other people consign things to her as well. You could try doing a web search for previous auctions.

Jaybird Auctions is Lloyd's daughter and a good many of the machines and stuff sold are from Coinopwarehouse. Not saying that is a good (or bad) thing just figured I would give some "history" to where that inventory keeps coming from. Over the years Lloyd & his family have branched out in many different directions. But from my recent experiences with his stuff typically it is selling for top dollar (plus some).

Lloyd is a good guy and very smart businessman. Sadly in recent years I have not been able to buy from him because prices have gotten insane. But years ago we did do a fair amount of business with him.

I know if you follow the auctions through some of the major auction sites you can find out what they sold for.

They had a fairly worn Stern Ali bring about $2,200 last auction. Add in the buyer's premium and there's not much of a deal to be had for people eyeing this thread.

they over charge on everything, coin op warehouse, jaybird, hub city you name it, not a deal to be had. i avoid them like the plague.
